The hotel is across the road from where we are staying so we decided to book a table. The hotel caters for non-residents. They allow dogs in the bar area, just not in the main restaurant.Food choices we good.I had breaded mushrooms in a throw back to the 90s which were yummy , followed by steak and ale pie, choosing to have extra veg rather than mash or chips. My husband went for scallops followed by lasagne, and out son had mozzarella sticks followed by a mozzarella burger (don't ask). We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was a reasonable beer / lager selection available.

Friendly and Welcoming bistro situated in seahouses golf club, offering a range of delicious Breakfasts, Light Lunches, Sunday lunches and Bistro Menus along with the most stunning views. Everyone Welcome!
We have stopped off for coffee and cake previously but this was our first Sunday lunch at The Bistro. The menu gave plenty of choice including several vegetarian options. For starters we had Spring Rolls with chilli dipping sauce and deep fried Camembert. Both were delicious. For our mains we had a roast pork (with delicious crackling) and a silverside beef. Lunch came with a good portion of fresh vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and the fluffiest roast potatoes ever. We finished our meal with homemade apple crumple and custard and homemade strawberry cheesecake. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The icing on the cake was the fabulous view along the beach to Beadnell, a wonderful setting.

When it comes to top seaside locations, the award-winning Bamburgh Castle Inn in Northumberland is hard to beat. Named Tourism Pub of the Year 2015 in the North East England Tourism Awards, The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooks the harbour in the fishing vill
This hotel does the best Sunday carvery in the area but this visit we couldn't make it for lunchtime, so went early evening instead and I must say the service was good and pleasant and we thought after a busy lunchtime energy levels would be lower than normal. Great views if you can get a window table

We visited while on holiday and popped in for a drink. Exciting times indeed for this pub, itâs coming to life, vibrant and passionate staff, a wide selection of good beers and exceptional cocktails. They are under a huge re-furb with kitchen and dining area. This place is going to shake up Seahouses. I wish them all the success in the world.

A modern Country Gastro Pub, located in the heart of Lucker village, that offers an exciting gastro experience including superb Sunday lunches, a selection of freshly cooked traditional pub meals with real ales, beers, lagers and ciders, freshly brewed co
Visited for dinner - food was nice, reasonably varied choices and good portions. The service was ok and friendly enough - although getting the mop and bucket out while people are still eating is not ideal. They put us at a table right between the toilets and the passage into the kitchen, even though the place was almost empty. What lets it down the most is the atmosphere in the dining room - it was sort of sterile. Maybe play some music? The blue fairy lights give a sort of cold feel to it. Staff training, some better soft furnishings, music and lighting would go a long way to transforming this into a great gastro pub.Thank you for taking the time to give us some constructive feedback regarding your recent visit to The Apple Inn. Firstly I will speak to the staff regarding the mop and bucket incident as this shouldn't happen when people are still eating and especially not in customers sight. Regarding the table you are describing, I believe you are talking about table 17 which is one of our most popular tables (spacious and close to the bar), I guess this is personal preference however simply asking our staff for a different table would have resolved this issue and the staff would of been more than happy to help. In regards to the Atmosphere, we have a high tech sonos music system in The Apple Inn and we always have background music on (perhaps too quiet), lighting we have changed recently via lighting experts advice but this is something we will continuously look into. It does appear, you have visited us on a quiet evening and as such it can be difficult to create an atmosphere in a spacious environment if the place is not sufficiently filled. We appreciate all feedback and if you would like to take the time to email myself directly at [email protected] I would be happy to discuss further. Thank you for your comments regarding the food and we hope you take the time to visit us again in the future.

We only called in for coffee purely because we saw that it advertised a "dog only" room. Orders had to be placed at the bar in the main part of the hotel and when our drinks were brought down they were accompanied by biscuits for our dog. How's that for service (which, by the way, was also quick and brought by a friendly person who made a right fuss of our dog). Looking at the menu, there was a good choice and there were plenty of Gluten Free options. This pleased my wife, as she is Gluten Free. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to stay for a meal but next time we are in Bamburgh, we certainly will.
