Reviews on Bar food in Azores, Portugal. The nine islands that make up the Azores are in fact the peaks of some of the world's tallest mountains, reaching from deep beneath the Atlantic. The once-uninhabited, volcanic archipelago now hosts thousands of tourists every year who flock to the islands for sun, sand and verdant mountain scenery. From the beaches of Praia da Vitoria to the bustling marina of Horta, to the bubbling volcanic ground "ovens" of Furnas, these islands offer unparalleled--and unusual--adventures to discover.

quaint lttle Irish pub with home cooked fresh food at very reasonable prices..The first IRISH PUB in the AZORES..Getting ready for the RUGBY WORLD CUP..KITCHEN OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT..
My wife and I were finishing up our day and couldn't resist a stop into this very well apportioned Irish Pub, especially one located in this little outcropping. The gentleman who owns the bar (unfortunately I forgot his name) is very nice and welcoming. The Guinness is fresh and tastes like that of Ireland. Though he offered some wonderful meal choices we were moving on so only had the beer. Will make an excursion back for a meal next time.

This was the best meal we had on São Miguel (all week!) The food was delicious. We had sirloin steak with a local sauce and chicken with a creamy mushroom sauce, both had homemade chips. They also sell local craft ales (the pineapple one is worth trying!) And the staff were very friendly. There's a nice atmosphere with lovely decor too. Would highly recommend!

A cozy room with a pleasant atmosphere where you will find good food and a variety of cocktails!
Went several times to this friendly resto with terrace in the centre of town. They have a good and tasty lunch menu, very cheap. Go early to have a place in the shadow.

Try the pineapple fizz drink! We had Gabby as our server - she was excellent. Super friendly and attentive. She gave us great recommendations for our vacation itinerary.

To arrive in our space is to get home, drop your bag, and enjoy a hot coffee and a slice of homemade lemon pie. Itâs kicking off your shoes, sinking into a big armchair, and drifting along with the melody on the stereo. Itâs the feeling that thereâs nowhe
Had some of the best food at this casual place! I ordered the Azorean alcatra - beef slow cooked w/ wine and spices - sandwich style on typical/ local english muffin type bread. SO delicious that I'm still thinking about it a week later! Staff very friendly and took the time to tell me about local music events.
