Wonderful atmosphere; staff does a great job of greeting you. Service is very knowledgeable. They also have a menu in English which was very helpful and accommodating. The 3 1/2 weeks my wife and I stayed in Astrakhan, we visited this restaurant least 5 times and always had the Steak Salad.House beer (light) was mouth watering. No hangovers or nasty after taste.Smoking section and non smoking section available however I believe June 1, 2014 no smoking throughout the restaurant goes/went into affect.By far, a must stop if ever your in town.

Bar&Grill. Atmosphere
We are Australian and we went to this bar and the staff were great to us, we were using Google translate to have a conversation but was great fun. The place is well kitted out. We are going to try and get back there when it is busy.

but I was so tired after 16 overnight flying hours that I made an exception, and was very glad I did. I since heard that people are rating this as No 1 in Astrakhan. Certainly good enough to tempt me back a second time. On both occasions the meal was excellent - seafood starter and steak main course. The service is speedy and polite. Little English spoken so expect a lot of pointing! The seafood cocktail with avocado and apple was outstanding. By contrast, breakfast was a disappointment, at least the hot food. 'Crispy' bacon was flaccid, fatty and lukewarm, as were the fried eggs. A tired nearly empty ketchup bottle maked Heinz, gave up a red sauce quite unlike the ketchup I'm used to. The cold meat, cheese and pickles offered as an alternative is the way to go!I was here leading a course. Our break snacks and lunches were both tasty and beautifully prepared, quite outstanding I'd say.
