This restaurant was a real "let down". We drove a long ways to get here from Fort Myers and online they advertise boat trips, a fossil museum and a GREAT restaurant. Not so fast there Skippy! Fossil museum was not there anymore, boat trips were cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian's possible approach (no blame for that - unforeseeable) and the restaurant was nasty! Restrooms had no paper towels or dryers for your wet hands (same for Men's and Women's as noticed by myself and my Mom). I ordered the Red Fish hoagie meal with a Landshark beer. Dad had a Red Fish Reuben sandwich meal and Mom ordered the Coconut shrimp meal. Dad also had a beer. Only my Pop's meal was any decent. Mom's coconut shrimp where breaded and fried from a frozen box and my Red Fish hoagie was a thin fillet of fish with one piece of lettuce, 2 thinly sliced tomatoes and some runny tartar sauce. Loads of hoagie bread though! No flavor whatsoever! My Mom's dipping sauce for her shrimp was some water like liquid with slivers of something floating in it. Total bill came to $50.00 plus tip!! Really - for that uninspiring meal!! Skip this place - you're better off going with the dollar menu at McDonald's.Hello,Fossil museum is under construction this summer. I am the owner and I am curious if you have any pictures on your food? I am there everyday, eat our fish regularly as well as use the sauces you mentioned. None of which are watered down. There are signs in the bathroom stating to please alert management if we need anything (towels). This is not an excuse for not having them but I know that any of my staff would have refilled them in a heartbeat. The same with your lettuce complaint, my staff would provide more to make you happy! They are trained to be accomaditng. I am sorry your visit was a let down, I am somewhat puzzled by your review honestly. As I mentioned I am hands on and would love to fix all issues. Please send pictures if you have them.

We visited this restaurant after the Rodeo with 9 other friends. They were able to accommodate a group within minutes. Service was quick and accurate. Food was reasonably priced, good portions and delicious. Love the salad bar Great varied menus... lots to choose from. Would highly recommend!

Their new southwestern grilled shrimp salad was drenched in dressing. I asked for avocados and got 4 small slices. The pieces of lettuce were the base of the stalk with several layers and cut in a big chunk. Won't do that again. Looked good on the menu but not what I got.Hey Christine, we'd love to get in touch so we can hear more about this experience and make things right for the future. Would you mind contacting our Guest Engagement Team at 1-800-983-4637. Thank you.

We booked into a private room at this restaurant for a group in excess of 30 for supper. Any time you go out with a large group there are bound to be a few issues. Our main problem was that, despite our request in advance, we only had one waitress instead of the two we asked for. It should be noted that the waitress we had, Morgan A., did a great job under the circumstances. My wife ordered the Big Catch Salad which she enjoyed very much. I had the Steak Burrito which was very large and flavorful. I also asked for the queso at additional charge, but it was barely warm and nothing special. In summary, though, the food and service was above average despite the minor shortcomings and we'd gladly give them another try.
