We set off on a Monday night to walk round the bay to the well recommended "Paddles" but it proved too far for little legs and we turned back into town.Not sure where to go (and without being able to access TripAdvisor!) we noted Leon's at first floor level and thought we'd give it a try.No-one else eating (not a good sign) but the staff were friendly enough and we ordered a meal.The food was freshly cooked (we could see the cooks beavering away) and the beer and soft drinks were cold and enjoyable.When the food arrived, it was quite eatable but not especially tasty. The problem seemed to be the sauce in which it was served which tasted a bit like 'gravy granules'.Perhaps we were unlucky.But it was notably more expensive than our hotel and not as nice.Sorry!

If you stay in Tanoa Tusitala Hotel, certainly this is a convenient place to have a bite to eat. The menu is not extensive but they have specials on the black board every day which represent fresh food with great value. Also handy for feeding hungry children after spending time in the pool. Price is very reasonable.Talofa lava Chris,Thank You for comments on our black board specials. We have lunch special 12pm-4pm and dinner special 6pm-9pm everyday.We don't have huge All Day menu but there is something for everyone- as you mentioned, even for kids.See You next time Chris

We were hungry but not that much. The portions were too generous and although very tasty could not finish it all. But really great food and since only few guest service as well 5 star.

Donât go here if your really hungry. Our food took quite a while to come even though there were only 2 other couples waiting. Medium well done steak stop arrived med rare and was cold in the middle, pork belly burnt on the outside. I had to swap my steak with my husbands pork as it was that undercooked, and even he couldnât eat it all. We were that annoyed we didnât bother complaining. Prices are too expensive for the quality that is served. The only positives weâre the outdoor eating and the view.

The view of the building from the road is a little underwhelming but please do not be put off. The meals are stunning and excellent value. The seared tuna salad was sublime and the coconut encrusted tuna sensational. On a Wednesday evening, you can watch the outrigger race and the runners / walkers doing their laps on the Seawall while sipping a drink with uninterrupted ocean views.

This was on my husband's bucket list of places to stop for a drink in Apia and we were not disappointed. We arrived around 8:30 pm, and the restaurant was quite crowded, and stayed crowded until late. ONLY TWO WAITERS were on duty. To get two beers took 20 minutes. To get our two dishes (a chicken burger and stuffed eggplant), took another 20 minutes. The chicken meat was mostly inedible (chewy and overcooked). The eggplant was tasty. Our chocolate cake was stale.

Our big family group went for dinner and we all the wonderful dishes on display. The setting was very nice and we had a whole room to ourselves which made it more intimate for our big group. The lobster was amazing I could tell my family dishes were great too as we were all quiet eating away. Great place to dine with a setting to suit too :)

We had the best food in Apia, indeed, best food have had for a long time anywhere, absolutlely gorgeous. the owners - Samoan and Italian couple, so welcoming and passionate about providing excellent food and a wonderful relaxing environment for their guests. They make their own pasta, use all fresh local ingredients, and very good value. Also, love their marguerita! And the best of all is the stunning location right on the sea.
