Promptly seated for table for 6. Drinks, apps arrived promptly followed by a great variety of luncheon sandwiches, burgers. Cozy/Tavern atmosphere--Fish Tacos, Rueben, Thomas Burger and quesodillas (child's menu) were enjoyed by all! Service from start to finish was prompt and attentive. Affordable. Food was tasty--no issues. Highly recommend.

This is a great location, and they've landscaped so that it's beautiful outside as well. They had some great choices in terms of food, and what we had was really good - lobster bisque had plenty of lobster in it, and the lobster roll was delicious. However, the service was slow (our server disappeared at times - one time to bring me water, which never materialized) and the lack of cleanliness was really off-putting. I've attached a photo of some sort of fixture hanging from overhead our table - and it's covered in cobwebs. Long, drippy cobwebs. (In early September - this wasn't a Halloween decoration). And a bug in the sink in the bathroom which I reported to the people at the host stand who could not have cared less. There's such potential there - I want to believe that at dinner time the service would better, but there's still the issue of the cobwebs, which didn't happen overnight.Hello, and thank you for writing about our establishment. I'm happy you enjoyed your food and our views. Being an indoor / outdoor restaurant, we do open ourselves to insects coming in, despite precautions we take such as air blowers above doorways. I'm sorry you felt the host did not care about your observation, but I do recall a host getting me for that exact reason in September. Whether it was your instance or another I am not sure. Thank you again for coming to see us and we hope you will come by the next time you are in the area. Regards,Beau

This is like an indoor take out counter though you can get service at the bar. Bring cash. They will take credit cards with an upcharge. Good food served alacart. Affordable prices. Everything is paper and plastic. Sort of a bummer considering the waste. Even the drinks are served in plastic.

We enjoyed eating at this restaurant close to the waterfront. The place was bustling on a Saturday evening, but we were able to get an inside table. Wine by the glass was pricey, although the serving was generous. I ordered flounder, which was really fresh and came with a heap of garlic potatoes and squash. Our server was great, however, as she cleared the table, she broke my husband's water glass. An unfortunate accident that she apologized profusely for.

Walking to downtown from our guest house we passed the MSG and noticed that they were running a happy hour special so we ventured into the converted church. To our delight, everything on the âBarâ menu was 1/2 price. We chose a shrimp cocktail, a flatbread pizza and a burger. Each was delicious and we were delighted we stopped. We recommend. Thank you, DJMCCG. We look froward to welcoming you back again - our bar menu is a great deal, right? Thank for your great review & for stopping in.

There is something about walking into a place where itâs about âselling you something â. I understand that is every businesses goal, but while you are doing that you can also strive to provide something great for the customer. Iâll start with the food. Got fish. Definitely frozen even though we are on the coast (take a note, 99 figured out how to locally source, you could too). The fish was like eating nothing. No flavor a slight taste of freezer. Good note, fresh veggies (nix the baby carrots folks go ahead, take a risk and cut up some good old carrots). Bartender didnât know the wines. Not great since itâs a limited list. Though they are a popular place so no worries, they will keep it the same. Just probably wonât pick here to come when Iâm on this road. Heck it the cash only winners circle, no frills but real food cheap prices. Or go up the road a bit where there still might be a family owned place you can support.

Had lunch at a local pub / grill in Amesbury Ma this afternoon. What a delicious surprise! We ordered nachos a half pound grilled burger with cheese and a tuna fish Club. All comfort foods and so tasty. Our server was a gentleman and gracious. I love a great tasting tuna sandwich, white bread toasted, L,T,O. Perfection :)

Good food, courteous staff, fair prices. Full of locals which usually means consistent food quality. We always look for a restaurant with a lot of locals. We had chicken salad and tuna salad. Pretty normal fair. The freshness was noticeable. The chicken salad was homemade. The place was packed for lunch and it was past 2:00 oâclock. An Enjoyable quick meal.

Weâre locals (for the past 5 years at least), we have always tried to love it here since the atmosphere is fun, the beer is good and itâs a town staple. That being said, the hosts are always so disappointing in welcoming and accommodating us when we bring our child. I get that itâs a great bar, however they have a childrens menu and we are never the only family there, yet weâre always are made to feel like having our child is an inconvenience and are always given crappy seating even when booths which we kindly request are readily available. It sets us up for an unpleasant experience and this time I just had to write about it to save another potential family of diners to go elsewhere. Whispering and debating an appropriate table for us âsomewhere in the backâ isnât a warm welcome, and itâs not the first time weâve had this experience when trying to be seated. The food is fine, nothing special and it always has an odd greasy texture and taste, but the beer is good, thereâs usually a good cider on tap (not this week) and a nice selection of wine. The dessert is another thing thatâs just fine, but theyâre way overpriced! Overall, I recommend trying the starlight or sticking to flatbread if you are dining with your littles and want to feel welcome and get good food.

I have been to crave on multiple occasion, restaurant and pub setting. Both are amazing and similar menu. The beef tartar and oysters are my go to, but have tried countless other offering on the menu that never disappoint myself or friends. And the drinks are always fun and inventive!
