Read a few previous comments not so complimentary. The building was deceptively small, but made up for it in the enclosed patio overlooking the wharf area. They also have open air seating in the front. Found the staff most pleasant and prompt with their service. The menu was extensive with fish or shellfish dishes. Also have Steak and salads too. I had the Kobe Beef Burger due to food allergies, and the son had the Cajun Jambalaya. When the plates hit the table, they arrived steaming hot and the smells emanating from the Jambalaya were mouth watering. The burger was done perfectly, and came with the usual garnishes to complete it. The fries accompanying the burger were also done to perfection, Nice and crispy with the insides cooked thoroughly, but not limp and undercooked like Mickey D's nor were they extra well done either. I find it difficult to find fries cooked to my level of crispiness, but the chef back in the kitchen nailed it. Happy Camper I was. Arrived as the sun was setting and the view, the sky, and and the day winding down made the experience a positive one. I will certainly return in the future..

Stopped by for a quick bite prior to a meeting. I realize this is a hotel - but $18.00 for two fish tacos, each had 1 piece(small) fried fish, avocado and cabbage on top. No rice, beans, nothing else. We also had the arugula salad $16. A tiny bit of chopped tomato, feta, sliced red onion on the bottom, a handful of arugula on top. It looked like a plate full of greens, no creativity. Maybe we choose unwisely. Burgers & fries at the other tables looked good. Napkins Bar + Grill, is in the heart of downtown Napa, offers American cuisine with a global influence. with the large bar where you can enjoy your drinks and watch your favorite team playing. enjoy cocktails and Appetizers from our late night menu, join
The food was fantastic, but outside was empty (inside busier)...very slow.....They also only have half chicken as do many restaurants in Napa...a waste, to end up throwing in the garbage. For a town so interested in paper straws and recycling...why would they want food tossed into waste.

If there were 3.5 stars, I would give this restaurant that rating. The views and location by the water is definitely 5 stars. It's a nice place to watch the sunset. Everything else in the restaurant was mediocre in terms of decor, food and service. Our appetizer was heavily breaded and almost felt burnt. Beef dishes were all in the $30+ range and nothing special. A dinner companion also found his chicken strips disappointing. Service was just fair. i had to get up off the table to get some sugar for my coffee. Bottom line for this restaurant, go for the view.

The Runway opened after the old restaurant closed, so we stopped in for dinner to check it out. We were hoping for steaks, but they were too expensive to take a risk on, so we settled for two Blue Cheese Burgers. We ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings for the sides and shared. The burgers were cooked well and tasted delicious. The fries were perfect and plentiful. The onion rings were few, tepid, and over cooked. We both ordered a glass of Zinfandel which was good. It is January, but the restaurant was cold, with a fire at the far end. Dinner for both of us was about the price of one Filet Mignon dinner would have been.--Yikes! We will probably return in warmer weather and give it another try--the location is great!

First challenge: finding the driveway to get into the parking lot (we overshot it and had to make a strange u-turn that was probably totally legal). Big, comfort-food menu with gluten-free options, substantial portions, friendly staff, but what I ordered was not what I got. I didn't want to fuss (nor will I call out the server who was super sweet but was confused what I wanted). I ended up with a veggie omelet, which is okay. What I wanted was a veggie benedict with scrambled instead of poached eggs. What is the difference? 6000 calories worth of Hollandaise sauce. Refills on drinks came quickly and with a smile. It's a nice location.

Went in to grab a sandwich for lunch on the golf course. A couple came in after me and were served lunch while waited. Another group.... same thing. By the time I got an overpriced veggie sandwich 45 minutes had passed! The sandwich wasn't good enough to justify the cost or the wait. I suspect this cafe has cost the golf course a lot of money.

3-6 is Happy Hour at Junction Brewery. We enjoyed beer and starters at reduced prices. The house brews are average, but it's happy hour and why not try them? We enjoyed the fries, calamari and wings as well. The bar and dining room are separated and we ended up in the dining room. Definitely a place to come back to.
