Conveniently located on the Main Street of Alpine adjacent to a favorite watering hole is the Smokin' Cuban. The top menu item features the Cuban Pizza, absolutely fantastic. Fifteen minutes after placing my order I was enjoying my order on a picnic table under the shade trees. I got it, its a food truck, but this is the best we've found in Texas. Fantastic.
We ended up here after seeing the lights from our Holland hotel room. This is an absolute must visit while in Alpine. The wine and beer list is extensive, and the location itself is super chill and great for couples or large groups.
Not your average BBQ joint.
I was referred here by a local. I eat a lot of barbeque in Corpus Christi, so I am a little picky. This was great! Friendly staff, and they have a great view of the surrounding mountains (including Twin Peaks outside).
