Under new management and now serving fresh, seasonal dishes cooked by passionate chefs. Food is locally sourced wherever possible and served in a welcoming and friendly environment. We serve a great pint of local ale too!
Nice pub/restaurant decor and atmosphere.Good beer.Service - very friendly and willing. (Personal preference - stop saying "no problem"!!!)I chose the "Planet Burger" with salad instead of bun. It reads well on the menu but, in reality, was a medium-thickness 'limp' patty. Not much texture or 'chewability' but topped with two small pieces of aubergine. If only restaurants could use, or find an equivalent, for a Quorn quarter-pounder or, best of all, the McCartney Mozzarella Burger? My partner had the mushroom stroganoff which certainly tasted nice. When he politely asked "is there any more coming?", as the portion was a bit small, our server immediately said yes of course, no quibble, and came back a few mins later with another part-portion. 10/10 for that!!!Yes, I'd certainly eat there again. Quite reasonable, too.

The Spotted Cow at Lower Bourne is a child and dog friendly country inn, hidden in a four acre wooded garden on the edge of Farnham, Surrey. We serve good, home made pub food, real ales & great wines in a tranquil & secluded setting.
Staff were excellent- very welcoming and friendly. We were celebrating an 80th birthday. Staff catered very well for family member with a garlic allergy and there was a good range of choices for him. Food all very fresh and delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Good choice of real ale. Spacious garden which is safe for children to play in and lovely walks from the doorstep.Thank you for your kind feedback. We hope to see you again soon

The Swan is a contemporary gastropub set in one of Farnborough's most charming buildings.
Only fancied nachos because I had eaten earlier but these were disappointing. Guacamole and sour cream but too little cheese so I ended up with a plate full of plain tortilla chips.

A Chef and Brewer Gastro Pub.
Well worth a visit, staff that can't do enough for you, provided my children with colouring to do while they waited for food, as they really wanted to go in the beautiful garden to run around but unfortunately the British weather wasn't playing fair,Steak was cooked to prefection and (I'm quiet fussy) can't fault this place it was busy during our visit but this is to be expected I suppose with the level of service and quality food that is being served.but never did we feel that we were forgotten as members of staff came over to check.well done this is a firm family favourite place to return.Lovely to read your comments about your experience, I'll make sure to pass them on to the rest of the team. We hope to see you soon!

The Alfred Free House is a family run pub situated in the heart of Upper Hale. We pride ourselves on our wide and ever-changing real ales, great food and friendly atmosphere.
A friendly welcoming gem of a pub hidden a little bit away. Convivial bar staff and friendly locals who make you feel welcome. No loud music or fruit machines, but a friendly place for conversation - just how it should be.An amazing, ever changing range of well kept ales at good prices for the area. The food consists of large portions of very tasty home cooked fayre. Giant burgers (special burger night on a Wednesday) and huge Sunday lunches.Well worth checking out! Recommend booking though, especially for Sunday lunch as it's so popular.

Located on the first floor and designed to encapsulate the style and seduction of Aviator's interiors, Sky Bar serves guests with classic and contemporary cocktails and indulgent Afternoon Tea to the background of ambient music.
Really delicious and inventive cocktails on offer. However the service can be painfully slow so donât come here if you want a quick drink before a dinner or lunch reservation in the restaurant. Both recent visits have had similar long waits for service. That being said, the cocktails really are lovely and the decor is modern and enticing. Dear KateLondon_9, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent visit to Aviator.I must say, however, that it is disappointing to hear of the service in which you have described to be slow. This being said, it is lovely to learn of your compliments for the cocktails you received. Our Sky Bar team work tirelessly to ensure that all of the cocktails in which we are offering are produced to en exemplary standard, so it is great to read comments to such effect. Finally, thank you again for your review, and I hope to welcome you back to Aviator in the future.Kind regards, Danny Maltwood
