I've been here 3 times now, and each time I've had great food that has come out quickly. The inside is interesting. The happy hour drink prices are also a great deal. Service has also been good.

Stopped in for a late night bite to eat. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Our server was very attentive. The salad was delicious as was the French fries and chicken sandwich. Prices are reasonable. Menu could have a few more options. Overall a nice place to eat

We went here for our sons birthday and the food was very good. Enjoyed the menu selections. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was just alright, nothing to write home about. They did bring an awesome birthday cake with candle to help with our celebration.

For visitors from out of state with little to no experience with Minnesota, this restaurant should suit your needs. Good food, some local specialties....try the walleye. Lots of good choices on the menu some very healthy and some less healthy but surely delicious. The service was superb...Haley, probably got the spelling wrong, the prices are affordable and watching Minnesotans was worth every penny.

Love this place overall - small town cafe bar type place, with arcade for kids, tvs, full bar, hard scoop ice cream, and incredible burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. However, service over the past couple years has really slowed down. You can be the only one in there, and it takes 2x longer than it should to get a drink, food ordered, food served, etc. Try it - you will love the food, but the service needs to improve.

Stopped in on our way from up north back to the city. The place was full on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That Is a great indication of a great local place to go!We sat at the bar. Excellent, friendly bartender. Could not believe how many staff this place had, no shortage of friendly workers.While having a beer at the bar, I saw an old familiar face. It turns out a high school friend (and his wife) owns River Inn Bar & Grill. How cool is that?!"I ordered a Patty Melt with French Fries. The beef patty on the sandwich was one of the best I have had in a long time. It was fresh and juicy, perfectly cooked. My wife's cheeseburger was equally delicious.Looks like we have discovered our next frequent grill enroute to and from the lake place up north. Definitely will be back again and again!

I liked this place, it was a straightforward bar that serves food. I had the fried chicken which was pretty good. I was also very happy to see that they served regular Coors beer which seems to be a rarity these days. I hope to try their pizza someday.

We go to space aliens every few months. The kids enjoy playing the games and getting the prizes. Most of the games and prizes are geared towards kids 10 and under.Service is good but food is mediocre.The quality of ingredients seems low. Burgers have been dry and pizza is bland. I have tried a few other things and never been impressed with the food. Neat atmosphere though.

This is pretty much a typical sports bar type restaurant. Overall, the food was pretty much average. The service, however, was good. I cannot say anything really stuck out about this place, except for the fact when we left, we had to go through a maize to find our main highway. Maybe I just did not see an easier exit.Thank you for your comments and for choosing DMB's. Hwy19 next to us will be redone next year and will make exiting much easier. I am sorry you didn't enjoy our relaxing Northwoods atmosphere.
