Albemarle (/ˈælbəˌmɑːrl/) is a small city and the county seat of Stanly County, North Carolina. The population was 15,903 in the 2010 Census. Gerald R. "Ronnie" Michael (a former police chief in the city) serves as Mayor and Albemarle has seven-member City Council elected in a combination of at-large and district seats. Albemarle has operated under the Council-Manager form of government since 1962. Michael Ferris has served as City Manager since December 2014 and previously served as Assistant City Manager for nearly two decades. The City Manager is appointed by the City Council, and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of City government. The City’s Department Heads report directly to the City Manager, who is also responsible for development and administration of the City’s annual budget.

Went there last week for a rehearsal dinner in the very private upstairs room. The bartenders were very friendly and professional. The food buffet was good as was the pub-like atmosphere. As we went to leave we noticed how hopping the main pub area downstairs was during this Friday evening. Looks like the hot spot in Albemarle.

This is a sports bar with lots of tvâs for the latest on NASCAR, basketball, football, golf or what ever the sport is youâre wanting to see. The food is great and the service is good.

A Tuesday late afternoon, not crowded. Hubby ordered famous fish sandwich, hot chips,ranch dressing. Sandwich had LT, house made tartar sauce. Very good!I ordered lightly battered fried chicken sandwich, onion rings, special dipping sauce. I had mayo only, without LT. The chicken breast was huge, hot and very good! There was no seasoning in the batter, which was just fine with me. I added salt and pepper, perfect!Server was polite, knowledgable, and attentive.Restrooms were clean. We live about 1 hour away, so we don't get there very often, but we will definitely be back, our next time through.

We had a nice lunch. The food and service were good. However, when we went to use the restroom we were disgusted. Floors were soaking wet and it wasn't water. There was toilet paper everywhere. We reported to the waitress. My aunt then told us she refuses to go to the restroom there because it is always gross. Wish we had known this before our visit.

Ordered take out wings while staying next door at the local hotel. Picked up the order and went back to the room too eat. Once I bit into the chicken I immediately called the restaurant and talked to the female manager. I explained that the wings were raw inside and still had some ice from being frozen. I asked her to refund my money on my credit card. She refused so I packed up the wings put on my coat and walked back over to the restaurant. After I explained that she and who ever the cook was, were putting their customers at risk of getting sick. I demanded she take the wings back to the kitchen. I got my money back. Terrible experience.Hi. I appreciate the feed back and apologize for your experience in my restaurant. We want nothing but the best for our guest. I would like to invite you back with us.
