I think they have at least 20 beers on tap (house wine is on tap), several wines from bottle, lamb tacos (3 mini tacos, tiny portion but very good for $8), chicken katsu burger is usually very good and the last several times I've ordered this, the chicken was literally HUGE, THICK and didn't fit the bun and this bun (delicious) is big too. :) Their service is about customer service so it's chill and they're attentive. Their shoestring fries with 3 dipping sauces are superb - good crispiness and texture. Black bean burger is very good too. Onion rings were good when we used to order them but when they added the shoestring fries... OMG, give me the potatoes! ;) There's two flat screen TVs in the bar area but it's nice that they have it on one side of the bar. Music is usually always a good selection when it's quiet enough to hear it. This is a must try place if you like good burgers, beer, setting and service. :) Veggie zook was not something I'd order again and there was only one time that the fries were soaked in oil and soggy - the fryer was probably not hot enough BUT with their excellent service, they had absolutely no qualms about getting it right. I've been here like 15 times. It's really a great place. :)

Wow, they have expanded this bar over the years. Large tables inside and outside and lots of TVs for watching sports. Great beer menu and you can play games with the entire group. Great for larger groups and very close to UC Berkeley, CA.

Went here for the first time with no expectations. It was a fun and lively place. Very friendly and efficient service and good food. The menu is interesting. We only had an entree salad which was excellent. My friend had a beer which she said was very good. I really liked the local feeling. Will definitely return.

Parking: we live 3 blocks away, so we walk. Can be difficult on sunny weekends since its an outdoor venue (but most tables are covered with shelter)Atmosphere: Family and dog friendly outdoor beer garden. Long wooden tables with benches. Small kids only play zone. Fire pit for chilly days (plus outdoor heaters). Dogs welcome on leash. Food truck handles menu with beer on tap or in bottles.Food: very good - all sandwiches $9.50. Also have rice bowls or salads. Feels a little skimpy on the meat but delicious. If you don't lie spucy, have them hold the jalapeños. I prefer the empenadas, esp. The veggie with mushroom, spinach and cheese. Three for $7 and that alone is filling for me. Fries are delicious and nicely seasoned.Service: Friendly - you order at counter and take your number to your table, where they bring the food. Self serve water, etc.

Wanted a comfortable spot to talk to a friend coming through town briefly; made a reservation easily online. Service was excellent and we talked and ate slowly without feeling rushed by wait person. Food is fine though not memorable. Nice drink selection. Attractive interior. Good location. Restaurant offers valet parking in area where on-street-parking is generally filled.

Itâs a small neighborhood restaurant that is adjacent to 2 other restaurants and a great bakery....I walk by when grocery shopping or grabbing some fresh croissants and coffee...catching glimpses of the food being served....it has a Wow factor! From attentive service to tasty, well conceived food. Make no mistake, this is tavern food .....elevated to contemporary upscale plateau. The flavours are not subtle and refined....we shared the Gnocchi 1st course....soft fluffy pillows balanced with cherry tomatoes, chanterelles, crunchy vegetables and subtle heat from chiles....The Halibut entree seemed to be most popular entree of the night seeing it on many adjacent tables...seared to a golden brown yet moist and tender inside, it sat on a bed of fresh corn .....the sauces were almost too strong over powering the fish essence...a fine line. My bone in pork chop was a generous portion, well seared yet lightly pink on the inside,,,,tender and moist. The bed of beans, andouille sausage and sauce was perfectly balanced with the pork chop. The peach marscapone dessert was good, but overshadowed by the excellence of the entrees....itâs kind of a noisy restaurant with an energetic ambiance...there is a small bar counter for single diners....good wine list. Service was A+

Brew Pub with oven fired pizza and a variety of other food
Late lunch as a family on a Saturday. Nice feel to the place especially outside. Good range of beers for an American restaurant/bar. Service is pretty good but food itself only very average. The Caesar Salad and the wedges were poor but the pizzas were good. So, OK just overall.

We were early for a show in Berkeley and decided to try this place out. The environment was lively with numerous televisions showing various NCAA and NBA basketball games. We were sat immediately. We waited a few minutes for our waiter and ordered our drinks first. The waiter came back and took our order. It took a while for our drinks to come to the table. The Osso Buco appetizer beat our drinks to the table. We didn't have any utensils or plates. The hostess brought us utensils but had to wait for plates. The Osso Buco appetizer was excellent. Mind you, our drinks still hadn't made it to the table. Our drinks finally arrived after 20 minutes of waiting, even after we asked out hostess since we were unable to flag down out waiter. The meal eventually came. We had the fish tacos and 2 cowboy burgers. I had my cowboy burger modified with bison meat. In all, the food was excellent. It took a while for use to (1) receive our bill at the end of the meal and (2) to receive my credit card back upon paying. If it wasn't for the service, this would have received a 5 out of 5.Word to management: Saturdays seem busy. You should always have extra people on in order to better serve your patrons.Word to waiters / waitresses: Just because you take an order doesn't mean you are finished with a table. Customer service is key in the restaurant business!
