The menu is extensive as are the vegetarian choices. Most important, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. I liked the restaurant so much I went there for lunch on three consecutive days. Although the time between my order and its arrival was a bit longer than seemed reasonable, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I will certainly return the next time I can.

I don't tend to fawn over places where the appearance/location appear to be dictating the prices, but when I visited on Friday after work with colleagues I was pleasantly surprised. We started with a bottle of wine and before we knew it ended up staying for dinner as well. The wine was great and cost was only a little more than what I would usually pay for a mid-range bottle back home (the UK). I ordered the grouper and it was better than expected. It didn't blow my mind but it was cooked well and presented really nicely - clearly with a suggestion of finer dining. Considering the price tag, I would expect the service to be more welcoming. We had a reservation but it seemed like a major faux pas to arrive without one and the service only became a fraction friendlier once we'd sat down in the undercover, restaurant area. You can eat food that is as good, if not better, in more relaxed settings and for much less money, elsewhere in Accra but you'd be hard-pressed to find such a great view.

The Republics atmosphere varies from a quaint after work secret chill out spot, to a bustling local & cheap cocktail bar on weekends. They have wonderful Mojitos and Caipirinhas at an amazingly affordable price, not to mention delicious meals that you jus
So if you are in Accra and want to hang out at a spot where you will see the locals in their usual selves, this is a place you should consider. I visited The Republic on a Wednesday night so it wasn't so congested. I hear this spot can look like a street party on Friday nights...so depending on what you want, do take note. The food was just okay and I got the most generous serving of calamari I've ever had here. If you are sophisticated and 'boujee' then this is not a place for you. But if you are street, then you should come here. The staff were nice though - one of them helped us to get an Uber since we were away from our hotel and didn't have wifi.

Lounge is very spacious, indoor & outdoor. Hookah is available outdoors. Food was ok, not worth the hype, just visually prepared well for the Accra area. My waitress was so accommodating but they all are in Ghana. I had a delicious Carmel milkshake that was just amazing and refreshing.

+233 Jazz Bar & Grill is Ghana's premiere jazz and live music club.
We had such a great night here! One to remember. Fantastic live band performing outdoors (it was an R&B band on the night we were there, but I understand that there is a good range of genres depending on what night it is). What a lovely atmosphere. People just out to have a good time. Waiter service at tables for drinks was very quick.

Located in central Osu and launching in November, Burger & Relish will be Ghana's first Gourmet Burger Restaurant and Cocktail Bar. A 90 seat restaurant with inside and terrace space.
The food was great, cozy atmosphere, a bit pricey but worth it . Not crowded on Sunday. That's all for this place.

The Accra night live doesn't end at Osu Oxford Street. The Coco Lounge at Stanbic Heights building is one place that serves up a touch of class and interesting menu. Wifey and I had a wonderful time here.

It took forever for Tapas Fever to hit Western Africa, but this spot in Afrikiko makes up for all those years. As the city's first Spanish tapas bar, Toro Tapas Bar fills a culinary niche. Quintessentially Spanish, our fresh and exciting menu offers somet
We watched the Afcon Soccer on the big screen at Toro and had a very enjoyable evening. The manager came to chat to us and made sure we were looked after. The waitresses are always attentive, efficient and friendly. We had a selection of tapas, all of which were tasty. A lovely evening outside watching the football.
