The Curry Cottage is becoming a favourite of ours. Although it is quite a small restaurant the service is second to none. The menu is quite varied with all of the usual Indian favourites and the value for money is incredibly good. We had the 'Specia Menu' and I have not had better value anywhere. For £10.95 we had a four course meal, choosing any of the items on the menu. The location is good for parking, the staff are superb and the whole ambience of the restaurant is highly recommended.

Authentic honest Indian & Bangladeshi cuisine.
We just had a meal at this wonderful bistro. The staff were excellent suggesting dishes and were not at all pushy. The food was the best we have had for a long time. The whole place is geared to helping the customer enjoy their food. I would have absolutely no hesitation about giving the highest recommendation to this superb eatery.

Zing & Zest Indian Restaurant is located on Oldhan Road Ashton Under Lyne. A crisp fresh looking modern dining concept with ample parking facilities. Serving authentic Indian food prepared by award winning chefs in a relaxed ambience. 5 star hygiene rated
Service a little slow on arrival however easily forgiven by the food. Shami kebab and pakora starters didn't touch the sides. Masala, jalfesi and signature main were wonderful, lamb falling apart, masala sauce sumptuous and rich. Likely to be rebooking for NYE!Thank you for a wonderful review, we value all feedbacks and thank you again for dining in at Zing&Zest.

Eight people, we were greeted by friendly staff who looked after us. A reasonable selection of beverages, wonderful selection of foods, all the foods we chose were very tasty, we had seven different dishes, papadums with a selection of sauces and mixes, nan bread and samosas for starters. My Madras was quite spicy, very tasty with plenty of meat. Good selection of desserts.

A traditional concept in Indian cuisine in the heart of Stalybridge. Serving authentic Indian food in a relaxed and contemporary ambience.
Only ever heard great things about the Swaadesh so last night a group of ten of us ventured in, We really wasn't to be disappointed & was treated like royalty from the moment we arrived, actually reminded me of the scene from coming to America when Rose petals were sprinkled on the floor wherever the young Prince went, that's how much the waiters looked after you. Another bonus was taking your own alcohol which always helps save the pennies. No corkage charge either so yet again another result.Regarding the food I have to say I've travelled just about all four corners of our wonderful planet and spent quiet a lengthy amount of time in India/Bangladesh in my younger days, I lived off all the top street food stalls in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata & Hyderabad for near on 18 months and the Swaadesh beats all of those hands down. We all chose different dishes and we were blown away by the quality. It's just little things that makes it special too, extra orange segments and chocolate sweets for everyone at the end. It truly is a wonderful place to eat and I'm in no doubt the number one curry house not only in tameside but in the Northwest. If there was one negative to take from the night which I'd hope the management will address, I had nowhere to hang my coat up.Many thanksCraig/Shane and the gang xHello Craig, appreciate your kind words and comments.
