I had been here before when it was called Tripti and vowed I would never return. As the name has changed but not sure if it is under new management?The food is a poor excuse for Indian food, very bland and lacing in any flavour. This is one of those Indians catering for the chicken tikka masala brigade?I vow never to return!

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food here as the nice staff wanted to place our order quickly, and we were not ready. Pappadoms were quick! ;) the portions were fresh and on the small size. We had starters each and main course. Price is average for an upscale indian I would say.

I've been visiting The Old Bengal for years and it's the best curry house in beaconsfield, sorry, was the best curry house in beaconsfield.It has recently changed hands and my visits since have just got worse and worse every time. I visited this Saturday and we had to go and get a member of staff to take a drinks order, the same for food and then again to ask how much it was going to cost for the whole experience. The food took a long time to come and you would of thought they were rationing the chicken, a couple of pieces per dish. Unfortunately the standards of the food isn't the only thing to have dropped, The waiters used to be great,immaculately turned out, polite and a great laugh! Now they're the complete opposite, I've never been severed a curry so aggressively just shout the dish and throw it down. Cheers mate!I loved the old Bengal, unfortunately the 'new' Bengal is not the same. The title for best curry house in beaconsfield is up for grabs, suggestions welcomed

I always find it difficult to choose what to eat at this restaurant as they have a large selection of items on the menu. All the dishes are really good and because of that you want to order one of everything. Thatâs why luckily the staff here can be relied upon to choose for you and this time, once again, they chose some great dishes. When you want to try everything itâs great to get a custom platter of a wide selection of grilled items each one cooked really well and full of flavour. The curry dishes also were packed with flavour and just at the right spice level. The naan here is the best naan I have had at any Indian restaurant, soft, light and tasty without any hard burnt bits. I could have eaten 10 of them. Again the selection chosen by the owner was perfect for the curry, garlic and cheese. This was a great meal and the two people I bought here were equally impressed with the taste of the food.

First time i have ever encountered a restaurant sneak off down to road and back with our food and pass it off as theirs!I ordered in restaurant, but my other half was waiting in car outside and saw it.They were whispering to each other in restaurant si i couldn't hear.Very expensive takeaway and very salty.Icing on the cake was the sleazy waiter who felt me up and down my back!If the food comes from Delhi Spice might as well eat there as takeaway is £10 cheaper for same thing and no sleazy waiter.Dear AustinPow,I am taking your review extremely seriously and have begun a thorough investigation. However to do this, I will need you to come in and give me further information regarding the date and approximate time of your visit. Please also bring a receipt, this will help me immensely. To accuse a staff member of touching you inappropriately is a serious allegation and I am keen to resolve this matter with you sensitively, if you can provide me with more information I can then check with my internal systems. I am sorry you felt that you could not contact me in the first instance. I would have been able to assure you that all food purchased here comes from my kitchen. Ordered a takeaway for collection.They clearly donât start cooking until you arrive,pay and then start the wait. This is the second time I have waited over an hour from ordering.Food is not even worth the wait. Greedy business that puts the customer second.Lots of other places nearby. Use them.
