This is a fantastic restaurant Believe me if you like proper curry then you will love this place. As good as the very best Indian restaurants we have visited and we are no strangers to Indian cooking. No colourings and powdered chilli just a really fresh taste and juicy meat.Highly recommended.

Visited here for Work curry - had great night - the food was excellent I had a lamb special dish which was delicious- lamb was so tender. With Bengali rice. Which was fab!! Staff are so nice and friendly- put massive blaster candles on cake for 2 of our birthdays- and free shots!! Brill night

when two of you order lamb curries and they arrive as chicken curries the managers response was the chef only cooked what was on the written down order so it is not his fault I said well obviously the order was wrote down wrong there was no apology and saidHe would replace them with lamb and also replace the non-breads and chips which came with them when he brought the curryâs out he only bought one naan bread and one order of chips I said where is my naan bread and where are my chips his reply was I only took one portion of chips away To which I replied yes but my chips was on the plate and then we had a confrontation because he wouldnât replace the chips and says okay Iâll replace the chips and then I will go and replace your Naan bread no apology was offered and he just expected me to sit there while everybody else was eating just looking at a plate of curry so I just gave it him back and told him to take it away to sum it up the waiter couldnât get the order right first time the manager couldnât get the order right the second timeThe manager should not be in that position if he has no man management skills people skills and low customer relationship skills

42 of us dined in the upstairs room for a Bloodwise charity social evening. From my first visit to book the room, choosing the menu and dining there, the staff could not have been more helpful. The starters were absolutely delicious (3 each!!) , and piping hot, the 3 main courses were a self service as a buffet. Again absolutely lovely - the chicken and lamb were really tender and moist, also a vegetable jalfrezi, crisp naan bread and fluffy rice. Choc pud and ice cream for pud and sweeties (including my childhood favourite flying saucers) and then as we left - Tia Maria and cream. The waiting staff were fab. Special thanks to Hussein and Noah and all the staff who helped to create a lovely atmosphere. A great night. We'll be back!

Himalaya Restaurant is a great Restaurant in Longbridge. Very tasty Indian Food,extremely attentive Service. Just try it when you live in the city or are in Birmingham for work, family,friends or holiday.:-) Looking forward to the next time in Birmingham and on top of the Himalaya.:-) ;-)

Visited quite a few times now. Always had a lovely meal. Really great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good value . Would recommend and will definitely return.

Food was delivered promptly to a hard to find location. It was hot and well packaged. We had a variety of dishes which were all really good and we will most certainly use this place the next time we are in the area.

Went with a group of 8 guys without making a reservation as was recommended by the young lady at our hotel.Friendly staff sorted us a table and we had a really good meal. Everyone was pleased with the food and service. Decor and presentation were good too. It also was obviously an attraction for families and couples too.
