We have passed this Elephant on the side of the road many times returning from Southampton, often tempted but had never visited, however this time we did and found a lovely welcome a pristine clean and tidy restaurant and good food.Plenty of veggie options and also a separate section on the menu, my pet hate is the "vegetable side dishes" section only on Asian menus when they have such a rich Veggie tradition, I invariably walk away at that!We had popadoms to start and I followed up with Paneer Jalfrezi with mushroom rice and my wife had a chicken dish with nan, both really tasty though I like spicy and my wife does not.I would certainly call again when passing by!

The longest established Indian Restaurant in town and still the best food. Only a takeaway on this occasion. The Waiter, didnât really understand the concept of 10% off for takeaways as he added 10% on, a genuine mistake I think, just not the brightest button in the box!

We dined at this establishment with an Indian friend who gave the food the thumbs up.We also thought it was pretty good.Although the restaurant was nearly empty we were squashed into a booth that was too small for four people. When our dishes were served there wasn't enough space for them on the table. It was most uncomfortable. The food was very good and reasonably priced and the menu was extensive. It was the best value food we have encountered in our three weeks travelling around England.

Pre booked the meal experience for two adults and two grandchildren and found it to be good value. The quality of the food was excellent with no complaints about the portion size. Would certainly visit again, the service and quality of the food both good.
