Food was up to the normal standard but evening let down by poor service ( waited 2 hrs for main meal and then one of the orders was wrong). They really need to improve

We arrived at ~7:30 pm and th eokace was empty. After having the food we can't understand why. Everything without fail was delicious. Prices were also very reasonable and staff were attentive. We started eating immediately because we were very hungry so my photos are a bit half eaten. We will return.

I highly recommend eating at Chandini's, there is a great choice of Indian cuisine including vegetarian options. I have just tried their Quorn Tikka Balti Palak, it was delicious! I will definitely order that again. The service at Chandini's is always friendly and if you're unsure what you want, they will recommend dishes to suit your tastes. There is parking around the back of the restaurant and wheelchair access.

I wasn't too sure what to expect, I was purely going on the reviews. Well, we weren't disappointed! The place is well decorated and clean. Waiters, tables etc immaculately presented. Polished, polite and attentive even amusing at times. The meal were absolutely fantastic. Chickpea meal had a lovely kick to it. Chicken balti was great. Samosa were a bit dry and needed a kick to it. I suppose that's what the sauces are for. All in all well done Saffron, will certainly recommend you guys!

Can't believe I have lived in Ware for years but have only just discovered this restaurant which serves the most delicious king prawn puri. I have now eaten here twice and each time the flavours have been fresh and mouthwateringly devine. This time I had duck haari, beautifully tender. Couldn't resist the prawn puri both starters shared. Followed by salmon tikka Masala with sides. Each mouthful was an awakening to my tastebuds. Can't wait to return

We were looking forward to visiting the Raj Villa but were left very disappointed and wonât be visiting again. We visited on a very cold and wet February night and the restaurant was very cold indeed and smelled of damp from the moment we walked in. Worse, the car park smelled of what we suspected was overflowing drains or worse, sewage. The smell was overpowering and we should have turned around and gone home there and then. The restaurant itself was so cold we all kept our coats on and our children wore woolly hats throughout the meal. We did notice the restaurant had some little fan heaters under some tables though. Sadly not ours. The restaurant staff werenât very friendly, or attentive, and the food took an excruciatingly long time to arrive. Our main courses turned up an hour and 20 minutes after we sat down. When it did come, the waiters just plopped it down, leant over us, put the knives and forks out higgledy piggledy and forgot to give some of us any cutlery at all. They forgot to bring drinks we had ordered and just didnât seem at all interested. The food itself was quite nice though! The toilets were shabby (but warm!) and the lock on one door wouldnât work at all. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night but there were so apologies or explanations why the restaurant was so cold, why the car park smelt overpoweringly of sewerage or why our food took so long. Sorry but we definitely wonât be back.

Went for a birthday celebration which got off to a bad start as our table was delayed by half an hour. It was very busy which is fine but as a result we were not asked for coffee, menu for desserts, asked if we wanted more drinks, if everything was ok..... ie the staff were too busy to be attentive. Had they come over to ask - I could have shown them the sugar cube which I found in my rice - 2cm x 1cm. This was not surprising as the coconut rice was so sweet it could have been a dessert dish. Although the decor was nice and it was reasonably priced, the food and lack of service put me off. Perhaps if they hadn't been so busy it would have been better...Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated. We hope to see you on a quieter night and we will assure you of the most attentive service.RegardsRuby

Located in a very old and characreful building, you are always afforded a very warm welcome from each and every one of the staff. The food is always top notch, and the wine/drinks very affordable.
