We called in without a reservation. There were plenty of tables when we got there but about 20 minutes later it was quite busy - clearly a popular local restaurant. The curries were tasty. One portion of rice is plenty big enough for two (maybe even three) people. Very good value for money - starters, curries, rice, naans, poppadoms, pickles and a couple of drinks just over £40.

We go here often and itâs always lovely food, calm and just a chilled place to eat dinner. Sometimes you can order the same thing and it comes different but mainly itâs just a great non pretentious relaxed place to eat, no booking loud music definitely come again.

Serving the local community of Haworth, Oakworth and Oxenhope the finest quality of Indian cuisine for over 25 years. A family run establishment, we take pride in offering the best quality of Indian curries under a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Come
We like a takeaway curry, but have had some very patchy experiences in Haworth/Keighley.In one of those "you couldn't make this up" scenarios, a few weeks ago I rang them to ask about delivery/meal options, but couldn't get through so we decided to cook.At the last minute I got a connection, and they very helpfully offered to drop a menu off next time they were in the area. It arrived about an hour later. Some days later we decided to give it a try, but again, spent ages trying to call them. Every time we rang, the line went dead.By this time I was convinced they were going out of business, so we decided not to bother. Then, other circumstances revealed we had an intermittent persistent problem with the landline (thanks Virgin Media, nice to know you've consistently maintained your execrable standards!).We tried the Raj Maha agin, and thank the Lord we did.The last few curries we'd had delivered from other Curry Houses had been lukewarm in physical heat, and, being Luddites, we don't have a microwave.I therefore asked the helpful chap taking the order if he could try to arrange for the food to be delivered hot - he agreed with us that cold delivered food was completely unacceptable, and promised ours would be hot.It was, and it was delicious! My wife prefers very mild curries, and also has food allergies.I like hot curries, and the only special dietary requirements I have is "large portions"!We're now working our way through the menu, and also things which aren't on the menu, but which the Raj Mahal are happy to supply. The food is of a uniformly excellent quality - and it arrives hot!!!OK, there are some meals I'm not keen on, but that's just the result of trying something new, and finding that it's not to my taste - like synchronised swimming or shin-kicking - perfectly OK to some people, but just not for me.We've never eaten there in the restaurant, so I can't comment on that aspect, but if you're in their catchement area and fancy a cracking good value meal delivered to your home, give them a ring (unless you're a Virgin Media customer, 'cos your phone line's probably dead).Thank you for not giving up on us.We take a lot of pride in our cooking and service and I can speak for the whole staff when I thank you for your review. We look forward to your next order.Best wishesAzhar

Meeting up with old work colleagues on Saturday evening,. our table was ready on our arrival. Great value and a large and varied menu. Staff knowledgable about courses and food served at a sensible pace. For alcohol bring your own as being a Muslim establishment do not have a licence. We left after a couple of hours full and very content. Will return.

Asian curry we are open sunday to thursday 5pm till 11pm friday and saturday 5pm to 12 midnight closed every tuesday.
Fancied a carry out on our narrow boat holiday, so went for this establishment. Had a few beers on the afternoon and ordered for collection. Good selection of curries and great quality. Only thing I didnât like was peas and sweetcorn in the garlic pilau rice.... Apart from that, really good Indians and fairly priced. Thank you so much for your nice review about us, sorry you did not like our sweet corn and peas in your garlic rice which clearly mentioned on top of the rice section, you could have avoid by asking not to add,
