As a new modern styled, premier Indian restaurant in the south side of Glasgow, we believe the New Gandhi stands alone in its attention to the details & delights of the culinary senses. The deep aromas, painstakingly perfected from the riches of the mothe
This upstairs gem on Victoria is near our new address on the Southside. We wandered in and were very pleasantly surprised by the menu, the food, the friendly staff. You can't go a block without tripping over an Indian in Glasgow and even in this environment the Gandhi is our go to choice. Owner Caine and staff are always so friendly and remember us even at the busiest times.Hey Ogdor, Thanks for the great review, we are glad you had a good time with us and hope to see you again soon New Gandhi Team

Stay literally 5 mins from the New Turban, and use the place regularly for last 11 years, never lets you down for take away. For a wee change last Friday decided to sit in for a change. We were not disappointed - absolutely delightful amazing lamb on the bone, the best spiced onions anywhere and lovely couple of pints of Kingfisher - the ideal curry beer, cold, full of flavour and not too gassy. The staff - Giffnock's Spice Boys are so helpful, welcoming and always cheery despite working flat out. Looking forward to our next visit.Dear "smiths05" many thanks for your very positive feedback. We are delighted to hear that as one of our many valued take-away customers you enjoyed your dining in experience with us. Thank you for taking the time to write us a great review. Highly recommended. make a booking to avoid disappointed. Was full when we left. Bigger restaurant than what you initially see. Servings are bigger than your normal Indian restaurant. They also have Persian cuisine for a difference. Great for children too. Have good variety for them. My 5yo loves the butter chicken for some reason, and also the lamb kebab. Also serve non alcoholic beer, which my pregnant wife enjoyed!

Open Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun (Closed Tue). Serving authentic North Indian cuisine using the highest quality ingredients in comfortable surroundings. Back under original management.
We visited for an evening meal with friends, being a Monday night the restaurant was quite quiet. The staff were friendly and most attentive. The food was excellent, one of the best we have ever had. All food was freshly prepared and full of flavour. If I lived in Glasgow it would definitely be one of our preferred restaurants. The only downside is that it is on the first floor, and quite a lot of steps.Five stars for food and service, excellent value for money, large portions

We chose this as it was near our hotel with good reviews. We were not disappointed! We've had many an indian meal but it was nice to see some different curries on the menu with some punjab specialities. I wasn't sure what to try and the owner was happy to chat about the choices. My son had a rogan josh and i had punjabi chilli garlic. We had chef special rice and a keema nan. It was all absolutely delicious! And the service was excellent. This place is just off sauchihall street so take the time to veer off the main drag for just 1 minute and you won't be disappointed!
