Ordered a home delivery for Vegetable Kofta and Chicken Jalfrazei. With boiled rice and Keema rice. When placing order my wife checked that the kofta did not contain wheat. Was advised they use corn flour. Unfortunately my wife had a reaction to the kofta's. The next day she rang and spoke to the restaurant manager and a colleague and was advised that the kofta's contain bread crumbs. She explained that they need to rectify this for future orders. Such a shame as we did enjoy the food, would order again but staff need to make sure that they clearly take on board customers allergies.

Popped in on a Saturday evening. Luckily to get a table of 4 as other tables were all booked. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but does allow you to bring your own. They do sell various soft drinks. We had the lamb shish kebabs and chicken ones too with some naan. Both came within 15 minutes, both were piping hot and tasted awesome. Did not think much of the chutneys, seemed to come from a ready made supplier, would like them to have their own. Mains, butter chicken - was just a basic chicken curry, overcooked which resulted in the chicken being shredded. There was no butter taste a all.I would come back here again but only for the anything from the grill, I would avoid the curries.

Iâm still a fan of this local Indian restaurant but was a little disappointed after my recent visit. My main reasons were that the service was sloppy, for example the waiter knocked over my glass of fizzy water but didnât offer to replace it. I could be wrong but I think some of the portion sizes have got smaller. For example the tandoori mixed grill was served on a large rectangular dish and tonight was served on a smaller round dish. Conversely the price seems to have gone up. I canât remember paying £25 per head before to include a few beers. Iâm sure weâll return but itâs important to me that standards donât slip further. Hi Howard M,First of all we would like to thank you for giving us a 4* review, and also we would like to apologise for not replacing your drink after the waiter had clumsily knocked it over and for which we would like to give you a round of drinks on us. I understand that the portions may have looked smaller that day because of the dish it was served on the day but also our prices went up around a year ago when our fish suppliers had increased their prices too.Again, we do apologise for this and hope to make it up to you. Please ask for Saj when you come and see us next.Thank youSaj

Visited this restaurant today with family to celebrate birthday of a friend and their staff especially owner Raj made it a memorable evening. Food was excellent. Highly recommend it. It gets very busy on weekends so book table in advance to avoid waiting.

Very good food (in particular the nan bread!) but the service can be a little bit slow when the restaurant is busy (ie Saturday nights). Curry dishes are very large and one rice is just about shareable between two people. Nan breads are probably on the smaller side when compared to other places but what they lack in size, they make up for in taste and freshness. Will definitely return to this great local Indian

Delivered quickly and decent portion sizes - liked the free popodums, mint sauce and onions.Unfortunately the starter and main were both barely warm rather than hot and the chicken in the curry, whilst generous, was rather dry.OK, but no where near the standard they were when they first opened. If I had to sum it up in one word it would be "disappointed"

Gurkha's pride has something that many restaurants lack in its exceptional service and more importantly, excellent food. All dishes are freshly prepared by using special ingredients and our award winning chef's are always ready to serve to your needs. The
My family and I have been going to this restaurant for many years, usually every other week. It's always good food, always good friendly service although sometimes it can be a little slow especially when they are busy. It's always worth the wait though, and last night (10/11/18) was no exception. If you go on a Saturday night - it is worth booking a table. If you don't, you may have to wait a while. There are plenty of bars nearby where you can go for a quick drink while you wait. It's also worth mentioning that when they are busy, they may not allow small children. The restaurant is relatively small, and noisy children can (and have) upset the other customers who are looking for a quite relaxing place to eat.Honourable Guest,Thank you very much for the feedback

This place is gone down completely. You are charged service charge for no service at all. They donât even offer napkins. Prices are high like Mayfair for Ruislip it is over the top. Food is terrible with no consistency at all. Poor food and high prices with no service is a recipe for disaster. There are much better places to go nearby then this will over rated restaurant. The toilets are filthy and and dirty floor.Hi there, we are very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us. We offer napkins with every table as standard and are surprised to hear that you did not get any as the cutlery is wrapped in napkins. Our foods are monitored and cleaned on a regular basis. Would you mind telling us when you came in so we can investigate this?
