Recommended for good quality food and friendly staff. We went when our booked restaurant turned out to be closed so we didn't know what to expect. One vegetarian, one meat eater. We shared a set veggie dinner and there was enough foo for a third person. If we didn't live so far away we would be back again soon.

Decided to try Al Madina again after a while away, and whilst the curry was nice it was nothing special. I went for the king prawn tikka masala which had more of a wintergreen flavour to it. Delivery service great though.

Always enjoy visiting here and always guaranteed a delicious, well cooked, well presented Indian meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Prices are about average for an Indian Restaurant and there is ample free parking available too.

The chef and staff have been preparing and delivering some of the most authentic cuisine at this gem in Buxton. Always generous in portion size and you can request adjustments to the spiciness of your curry. The coriander rice is wonderful and rarely available elsewhere. We always eat here when we are back in the area.

Great place for a family or work do- no delivery option however I think that keeps this place genuine- the last nice Indian takeaway Zackary started doing delivery and the quality quickly went downhill- here's hoping Memories never changes- excellent for vegetarians like me.

A small group of five visited on a Saturday night. With no licence, the restaurant only sells soft drink s but allows you to âbring your ownâ. Poppadoms and a selection of dips started the evening off. Various dishes were consumed. I ate the lamb tikka kahari whilst my fiancée had the chefâs special Kastoori chicken, with a shared mushroom rice. The food was freshly cooked in the open kitchen and was as appetising as it was attractive. The furnishings are of a moderate level; without tablecloths and only paper napkins; and there were many takeaway pick ups. But the service and food were excellent and prices very reasonable. Well worth a visit when in Chinley.
