We regularly have take away from here and have also eaten in recently. The food is of an excellent standard. Freshly prepared and delicious. There are some more unusual dishes, as well as old favourites. It is very good for vegetarian and vegan options, great when you have a mixed group with different dietary requirements.

Bombay Mix Brixham

Reviewed By Rosemary C

Indian/Bangladesh food is one of my favourite foods so when the Bombay Mix first opened we tried it and food was OK (unfortunately like most Indian/Bangladesh restaurants and take aways in Torbay) but I was ill next day with a stomach upset. It could have just be coincidental or it could have been the food. Anyways di not use it again until yesterday evening. The menu is beautiful and clear with explanations of many of the foods. They offer choices of meals that I have not seen available at other Indian/Bangladesh eating places. We ere told the food would be ready in 20 minutes for collection (they offer delivery) and it was. The food was hot, tasty and large portion sizes. Great value. I had lamb which is sometime quite hard to chew and van be quite sparse but not in my Bombay lamb saffronWe are fortunate to have this take away in our town. We will be using it again.

The Balti Night

Reviewed By Paul G

I can't spend long enough typing to strongly urge anyone who ever reads this and vaguely considers going to The Balti Nights Indian restaurant in Brixham to not go. We waited for over an hour for our meal, a Saturday night take-away for a change. The food was unrecognisable as being the dishes they were meant to be. The promise of delicate spices and aromatic cuisine couldn't be further from the truth. The people running this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. Having eaten at many fantasic Indian Restaurants on my travels, I was shocked just how bad this was. Imagine the worst slop you've ever had... got that pictuer in your mind? Now multiply it by ten and you'll be starting to get the picture. I visitred the bathroom just before we left, if I'd gone there first I wouldn't have ordered anything. This place claims on it's menu to have a 5 star health and hygiene rating, but it doesn't display it in the window - it prints it in the menu, that can't be true, right? I'll be ringing the Torbay Council on Monday to suggest they may want to pay a visit and check. Let's hope this place is closed down, and replaced with a the real deal, as we all deserve to have something decent for our hard earned cash, and this wasn't it.
