We stopped by here for lunch. My husband enjoyed his portobello burger. However, I did not enjoy my mahi-mahi burger; it was cold in the middle/undercooked and it was also very salty. The place itself looked very nice, it was outdoors and overlooking the Unexso pool. Itâs conveniently placed for those who wanna grab a bite and drink while waiting for the dolphin programs and after a morning of scuba diving.

Ambiance - this place has it. On one of the most accessible free (non-resort) beaches, across from Port Lucaya Marketplace, along a path next to the police station. The beach is small and crowded with people renting/selling motorized water rides (jet skis, banana boats), braiding hair. If crowded beaches and loud music are your style, visit the beach and make sure you eat at Billy Joe's. Recommended by several locals and cruise boat staff, the conch salad (as stated elsewhere, like a ceviche... basically fresh chopped conch with diced onions and peppers) is the go to dish here. Not to my taste, but very popular. Also an assortment of fried seafood, mixed drinks and the 2 BaHamian beers - Sands made on this island and Kalik, made in Nassua.

This is a Tiki Hut on the beach next to the Island Seas Resort on Silver Sands Beach.
hardly ever write reviews, but this is very important! There were 5 of us on this trip and we always stay at island seas down the beach. We thought instead of going out to eat at 1 of our favorite places in the Kaia we would go to Bernie's. You're supposed to have all the drinks you want and a dinner. Picked up just a minute or so to order and "pay" but it took for ever to get food or any additional drinks. (Mind you i opted for virgin drinks). The biggest mistake came when I asked for butter for my lobster, I was told by the man that he could not be responsible if you gave me butter and ge chuckled. I said for what he said sometimes people get hives from the butter. I asked whats in the butter he said "garlic". Me being Italian and growing and eating garlic probably every day of my life, I said I eat it all of the time. So he gave me a shot glass of butter. I put some of it on my rice and my lobster because everything lacked flavor. The rest of my family just wanted to eat what they could and leave. Actually 1 of the $30 lobster dinners never came instead she got bbq chicken (which was cheaper) My food was so cold that it couldn't even melt the butter. At 1am I woke up to an enormous swollen lip and an itchy tight throat. By the morning it was so swollen that it forced my skin to split!I had to go to the clinic the next day and get medication. When i asked him what besides the garlic he said that was all just garlic. I just want to know what to avoid. It was not the lobster because i eat it before and after at different restaurants. We will Not go back.I am sorry you may of had that experience a.d to say he may of smiled when. You asked for butter was because all lobster is served with melted butter on top with lime based.I cannot imagine what may have happened to your lip maybe you had a reaction because o. That might I remember you very well we sold out on lobster and was all prepared the same way and had no other complaints.Again my sincere apology to you.

HELLO FROGGIES If you've ever been to a Senor Frog's, anywhere around the world, you already know that we're a place where people of all backgrounds hang together, dance, sing and basically act the way they want without worrying about silly rules and regu
This place has thumping loud music. Crazy tourists all strutting their sexuality on the stage in drunken debauchery. A fun DJ to whip them into a frenzy. There is always something to see here. Waits are long, service is slow and has the "I could care less attitude". Bahamas Mommas are really good but pricey. Not a place that you can sit and discuss your next plan with your traveling companions. This is a place to go get wasted. So it did not meet our needs on this visit...check please! If it sounds like your kind of place?? Enjoy!!Hello, wetravelalot007,We appreciate your review, we would like to know more details about your visit and give the appropriate follow-up, can you send us your contact information to mail [email protected]? Our management team will contact you as soon as possible. Best regards.

My wife and I have been here a few times during our trips to Freeport. Friendly atmosphere and laid back type of place with good music. A mix of locals and tourists in here. The bartenders are always attentive. My wife and I sat at the bar and Michael, the bartender, said he would be right with us. Well 3 minutes later after being busy with other customers he apologized for the wait and asked what we would like...to which I responded "2 Kalik beers and conch fritters". He again apologized for the wait and gave my wife and I 2 complementary shots...again apologizing for our wait. The food has always been good here and the beer is always cold. I recommend it.

We found this place on our last day in Grand Bahama and I am sorry it wasnât sooner! Cleveland and Millie are so welcoming and the drinks and food are amazing! We started with fantastic Bloody Maryâs and had the lobster tails for lunch and I can honestly say the best I have ever had and amazing value! The location is fantastic right on a beautiful Bahama beach in a real local beach bar, chilled tunes, amazing food, good drinks, amazing hosts, what more could you ask for! Highly highly recommended. Forget the all inclusive down the beach and head to Clevelandâs you wonât be sorry! â¤ï¸

I've been going to Daddy Browns so long I knew it when it was named Big Daddy's Conch Shack! He has been in business a long time but the quality of food hasn't changed at all. My favorite is the conch salad. He makes it fresh right in front of you and its amazing. It's always my first stop when I get to Freeport :)

This is a great little place right at the cruise ship pier in Freeport Harbour. Delores, the owner, is very friendly and her food is homemade. Conch!
On the 2/17/19 Carnival Pride out of Baltimore, Freeport was the last port on the way back. I read about the excellent conch fritters at Robinson's but they were temporarily out. I wasn't sure exactly what a promised 15 minutes wait really meant so I ordered fried shrimp, which came with hot fries. The shrimp were memorably superb and the fries were excellent also. I would give a 5 rating for the quality of fried shrimp, they were that great. Robinson is in hut 2, nothing to do with Building 2 at the port.
