A lovely child friendly hotel/ restaurant which has good outdoor play facilities with outdoor seating to eat/drink .In my opinion not enough (safe) space for the superb bikes that they provide for the children to play on ,some meals can prove to be pricey but well worth a visit as they serve excellent food.

Noticeably cheaper than places higher up and less tucked away. Generous portions too. Sit outside under the eaves or in the deckchairs pointed at the sun. Thereâs a little terrace up a few steps. Large beer 3.30 tea with milk 2.10. The milk came in its own little glass bottle - very cute, and much nicer than a little plastic pot. Leberkäse and chips with a fried egg on top. 6.80Salad with Putenstreifen - strips of turkey 7.00Coffee 2.50All good except the coffee - a bit insipid for my taste, but then my taste runs to espresso.

We enjoyed our dinner immensely. Lamp chops cooked to perfection and the vegetable dishes were great as well. No overcooked vegetables! :)Would certainly return to this restaurant.

We decided to celebrate in this restaurant a birthday and we're happy of our choice. Their menu is absolutely delicious and harmonic. Service were really friendly a we enjoyed our dinner. They cooked for us also some sweet surprise for a birthday occasion. It's very expensive restaurant you should calculate with at least â¬100 p/P with some wine but you'll be satisfied with everything. I can recommand this restaurant for some festive occasion!

We happend to pass at lunch time and decided to have lunch in their garden. And we were not disappointet. Great food, fair prices and above all excellent service. The young woman who served us was not only professionel but had humour and an easy smile. A great stop for lunch or dinner. If you don't stay there!Wir freuen uns sehr das Sie so zufrieden waren. We stopped off for lunch before heading for Kitzbuehel. We had a lovely table by the window with the sun streaming in. The Schnitzel, Tyrollean platter, sausages etc. were all very good and we did not have room for dessert. The waiting staff were friendly and relaxed.

This restaurant has been transformed from a Mexican eatery into a superb Austrian restaurant. The staff are polite and welcoming with (fortunately for the good lady and I) a very good command of the English language. The food is excellent and served quickly. We would reccomend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ellmau.

I've been here before. I gave it five stars before. I'll be coming here again.It's probably my favourite mountain restaurant in an area that has lots of nice mountain huts. Espresso and Hagebuttentee. Rosehip to you. Not the best espresso, but this is Austria, not Italy. Service was good. We came back a few hours later for lunch. Ribs, BBQ sauce, potato salad. I could have had a baked potato or chips. My partner had Wienerschitzel with chips, so I stole some of hers. Plate piled high, and all good

Up a long winding road that seems in the middle of nowhere we emerged into a picture postcard perfect location. Jagerwirt served excellent authentic Austrian fare. The staff were amazing - helpful and friendly the food and wine absolutely stunning and the location and the view brilliant. Highly recommend this place - well worth the effort to get here.
