You feel immediately at home in this typical Austrian restaurant with lots of wood and full of atmosphere. Staff is more than friendly and professional. The menu offers good choice and the winelist contains good local wines. Food was really good and prices are really fair. Definitely a place to visit when staying in the Montafon area

With its wood paneling, which harks back to old-fashioned farmhouses, the largest of our mountain restaurants provides a cozy chalet atmosphere. Since 1989, Nova Stoba's chef, Kurt Woltsche, has been spoiling guests with international and regional delicac
Had lunch here with my husband who was skiing up here. There is a large terrace outside with music playing and a good atmosphere. We sat inside. There was a great choice of food and drinks. The staff were very organised and everything was in order. It is huge inside and there are T.V.s around with skiing and sport to watch. The food was tasty and the portions were massive. The views are stunning from the top too. Recommend eating here.Servus Tilly, thank you for the nice feedback. We are looking forward to welcome you again in Montafon.
This mountain hut is half way up the Tafamuntbahn cable car - so the truly lazy can enjoy a typical Austrian mountain lunch, without stirring their stumps. We (needless to say) struggled all the way up through the woods from Gaschurn, and so developed an heroic appetite. Good soups, salads, sausages, and topped off by decent apfel strudel. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere in this typical wood-lined mountain hut is excellent - well worth the slog!
We stopped for lunch. The service was painfully slow even though the restaurant was not busy. The people who arrived after us had their meals before we did, even though we were sitting in the same area and their meals were more complicated. Portions were very small. Both of the soups we ordered were salty and the only thing decent was the cheese spatzle. Just drive on â the restaurant up in the Silvretta Pass seemed like a much better bet.I not only had to ask for the bill (normal) I had to go over to the waiter to get it as he seemed distracted doing something else.

The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and the service provided by the staff was excellent. The food quality was disappointing. My tomato soup had way too much salt in it. I couldn't make myself eat that. The main dish itself was okay, but the sauce the meat came with had again way too much salt in it. I can't recommend anyone to eat at this place, but if you're just looking to grab a drink it's a nice place with great service.

Stayed here for 14 days, breakfast and dinner included. Skibus stop in front of the hotel.Excellent food, every night a different menue with lots of local ingredients.Room simple, clean and nice.Recommended as a basis to ski and wander around.

Simple modern restaurant, nice food, nice wine, nice service. We arrived later and were directed here by the apartment staff to eat diner. Was worth the walk down the valley. WE had a pleasant evening before our weekend skiing. I would come back here

We drove the Silvretta Alpine Strasse from Partinen and had a wonderful lunch at the Silvretta Haus. Because of the crowds and busses at the lower restaurant we decided to try it out. The Service was excellent and the waiter spoke perfect english and offered an English menu. I had a plate of three grilled meats and my wife had an open faced sandwich. The waiter was kind enough to bring toys and memory cards for our 18 month old. We both also had dessert to appreciate the amazing view of the snow capped mountains over the lake.
