We stopped at this "Alm" coming downhill from the Elfer cableway station (it's ab. 1 hour walk) and we were totally satisfied! Food is great (fresh yogurt with berries is amazing!) and all the staff is very friendly. In summer you sit outside and the view is so nice...and for the winter or just for cold days there are tables inside as well. Prices are more than ok for the very good food!

Aparat from magnificent view from certain windows of the restaurant I especially liked its cosiness of the inner room with nice Austrian decorations like wall lamps, curtains etc. Everything I ate there was tasty - sausages, bread and ham were high quality products. I will come back.

eines der wenigen noch Traditionellen und urigen Restaurants. GenieÃen Sie gute Traditonelle Küche bei urigerm Ambiente. Jeden Dienstag findet der Bestecklose Abend statt!
Part of our stay at the Tirolerhof was a night out at the Schallerhof where we had a 3 course meal without flatware. What a fun thing to do with or without kids. 2 guys played music and it was a great atmosphere. This traditional inn's roots go back to over a 100 years of hospitality. Love this place and sure will come back next year and try the regular cuisine during lunch time. Thanks, Viktor and the Schallerhof team for doing such great events!

We enjoyed sitting outside, on sheepskin rugs, at the Schaufelspitz whilst watching the Ultratrial participants pass. The outside seating area is shielded from the wind and snow by a glass wall.Service was a bit slow, but with views like this we did not complain. There is a small childrenâs play outdoor play area and when we visited the restaurant had a BBQ going.

At our Tschangelair Hut at 1,390 m of altitude you do not only enjoy the beauties of the Stubai Valley, but you will enjoy nature in two ways. You will also be spoiled with fresh products from our own farm - like milk, cheese, butter and eggs. Furthermore
Our mountain guide took us here for lunch ystd and we love their trout so much, we came back. Conveniently located by the roadside on the way to the Stubai's glacier. The staff are friendly, accommodating and efficient. We shared the trout with some salad between us. The fish was fresh and simply delicious (they have a small pont nearby where they farm the fish and a small farm for chickens). Our side dish was delightful (chantelle mushrooms cooked in garlic, butter and onion - a local "must have" for the summer season). Definitely recommended.Dear Tschangelair hut guest, thank you very much for your fantastic feedback to our Tschangelair hut. We are very happy to serve you our home made trout and other local food and think this is a great way to please our guests as you. We hope to welcome you back soon.Best regards from the Stubai valley, the Tschangelair Alm team

Food not too bad. Owners/managers, however, seem to think that 30 years in the industry gives them the right to be rude and arrogant to their guests. Clearly then, 30 years in the industry doesn't correlate to developing a sense of customer service. Never again. There's plenty of better places to choose from.

Here you enjoy... ... The best of traditional Austrian and Tyrolean cuisine. You can meet in our cosy, traditional and originally preserved wood-panelled "Stube" room or in the bright conservatory and get spoiled by our traditional, but exquisite cuisine.
I've been to the restaurant many times. The Wintergarten is just lovely. The food is tasty and very good. Try the Forelle Müllerin or any style of Saibling. Both fishes are cooked in an amazing way. Vety good beer and friendly service. The Hoferwirt is also the owner of the Tschangelair Alm, beside the Gletscher StraÃe. There, they have some very little lakes where Hoferwirt breed the trouts and the saiblingen in the water coming down from the fantastic Glacier. The fishes are faboulous and very fresh. The restaurant of the Hoferwirt is one of the best of the entire Stubay Valley.

Big, but cosy with an open fireplace in the middle great terrase with a stunning view, heartly, cosy and good - thats our Slogan and we give our best to keep up with it for you
Very good restaurant, I am not a fan of dead animals hanging on the walls but well, this kind of "hunters style" deco is still very popular. Apart from this the restaurant is very cosy and comfortable, not any kind of fancy posh place but rather a welcoming easy going place with friendly atmosphere and alpine flair. Food is mostly based on meat so not really a paradise for vegetarian/vegan customers. Everything we ate was really tasty, I had garlic cream soup and salad with beef slices, my friends couldn't be more enthusiastic about steaks they had. Nice staff, quick service, absolutely nothing I could complain about.Good day, dear guest !Nomen est Omen i would say - the Name " Jagdhütte " for our Restaurant results from our Senior Boss, the 2 sons and the granddaughter being a hunter.all the decoration has been mostly hunted in the stubai valley. We do offer a few dishes without meat - mostly seasonal like asparagus or mushroomsbut we are quite well known for the quality of our meat, that we get delivered Fresh and cut it in the kitchenthanks for your reviewLooking Forward to host you againregardsRegine

We had lunch for 8 before our ascension of the Grawa waterfall. The scenery is breathtaking. The food has the local flavors and is swiftly served by the staff dressed in the typical lederhosen uniform.Staff is smiling, helpful & patient. Good value for money & delicious. One important thing : bring cash - no credit cards are accepted - or be ready to wash the dishes ;-)
