Wir waren schon einmal da und sind gerne wieder gekommen. Netter mittelgroÃer Gasthof mit Zimmervermietung. Die Zimmer sind sehr groà und nett hergerichtet. Die Badezimmer sind geräumig und modern. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Das Essen im Haus ist auch zu empfehlen mit Halbpension oder mit Auswahl aus der groÃen Karte.Wenn das Wetter passt ist der Sprung ins hauseigene Schwimmbecken sehr angenehm. Tolle, ruhige Lage mit herrlicher Aussicht. Auch Hunde sind willkommen und mehr noch, die Hunde bekommen die gleiche nette Betreuung wie das Frauerl und Herrl.Es war heuer ein kurzer Besuch, aber wir kommen sicher wieder einmal, dann aber länger.

Soleo is a very nice restaurant, based on local cuisine but on a very high level. Nice combinations, very well prepared, excellent wines (leave the choice to the owner, you will not be disappointed) at very decent prices.Whether outside on the terrace or inside, a nice place to enjoy a great meal!

We had already eaten but stopped here for a few drinks and to enjoy the view. Thankfully we were lucky enough to grab a seat outside. The food however did smell very good

In the small town of tigringer we found this gasthof with outside dinner under a big tree. Burgers, noodles, carpaccio... all were very nice and for very fair prices.

The restaurant is ideally located on the see-side as part of the traditional bath-house. They offer mainly tapas and some main courses. What they served was great but it was difficult to order, the wait was long and they forgot a part of the order. We had a wonderful dinner at the Fischerhaus composed of three courses with an owner who was very nice and informal. The owner suggested us some dishes while being very chatty. Considering the prices displayed at the website of the Fischerhaus (35 euros for a three course dinner) I was in the mood not being my normal self to check all the suggestions he made. At the end of the dinner we received a bill of 276 euros. This was a cheat. I told the owner of the restaurant that I would not be coming back. He offered to reduce his bill with 100 euros after having made the payment already. Of course, the bill remained the same and also the disappointment with such treatment.

We found this chic, familiar and very good restaurant just by chance, travelling from Prague to Italy. So, we couldn't have been lukier! The food and the service were both excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and kind even if it was 2.00 p.m., and made us understand the menu despite the fact that we didn't speak German at all. We tried some of the trout-dishes, goulash and the deer meat dish, which was really over the top! Very good desserts too. Great experience... very pleasant memories... thank you!

This restaurant is in a typical Austrian house with beer garden. A short drive behind Portschach.The food is an excellent example of local tastings. We visited it a few times during our stay in the area. It has grown and expanded in the last four years, at times not for the better. It can get very busy and the staff can be pushed to the limit.However they do a fabulous job under busy times and the food is worth it.
