Nester's is a quality proofed restaurant and as "Tiroler Wirtshaus"certified. "Tiroler Wirtshaus" stands for lovingly, elaborately cooking with fresh, regional products, cosy atmosphere and originality of dishes.
You can have a good dinner for â¬25 with high quality, well prepared meat. Nice atmosphere and proper service. The soup, however, was quite tasteless in contrast to the rest of the menu.It is also nice that they provide the (daily) menu on their website.
The meal I had (spaghetti Bolognese) was well made. The only down side is they allow smoking in the restaurant. Great views as well.

Reaching the end of the valley you find this civilized mountain resturant. A wonderful view to overlook the entire Alpbach valley. Roast pork with sauce is outstanding, served every Sunday or order in advance on other days. Kind service and even a home made Schnapps to end the experience, complimentary of course. Enjoy.

At the Metzgerwirt in Uderns, it is far from âall sausageâ, nonetheless you shouldnât depart without have tasted that, too. It is homemade, and it is scrumptious.
Coming to Hochzillertal 12 years and eating in this restaurant for six consecutive years, I did see it change, from exclusive to almost familiar, but keeping the high standards for food. Last time the chef came several times to the tables, what we appreciate, and the hostess, his wife I'm sure, is a grand lady. Excellent food and excellent service. The first is not that common in Zillertal...
Austria Food Guide: 3 Cafe food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Patergassen

We stayed in the camping Hell apartments and had dinner at the restaurant twice. Food and service are both very good! Good prices also. Ask to be seated in the non smoking area if you don't smoke. Also the restaurant is not open for lunch - breakfast and dinner only.Thank you! Just for information the whole restaurant is non smoking now. In summer we also serve lunch....

The food was delicious, hearty food and huge portions. Exactly what you want from winter Austrian food after a dayâs skiing. Family owned, filled with Austrians and seemingly untouristy apart from us. Up a long windy snowy road, so definitely go by taxi. Get the calorie-laden Kaisermarren for dessert (one between 4 to 6 people probably).

Food was bad and definitely side dishes were taken from all inclusive part of restaurant. For every dish U get old potatoes - crocquets instead of salad from the menu, fried potatoes to turf & surf. Imagine steak and shrimps (quite good) with a side of fried old potatoes.hello thank you for your time to send us a feedback. We are sorry that the meal was not your taste. We can assure you that the potatoes are allways fresh and we serve the Surf and Turf with roastet potatoes and not with fried potatoes. it is your decision if you want salad or croquetes. Thank YouHotel Schiestl mit Team

Stopped off for a snack. Waiter spoke very little English but no problem with menu. The berry strudel was huge and to die for. My wife's ice cream sundae was enormous and packed with fresh strawberries. All was served with a smile and a dance. What more could you ask for.
