The Crown Hotel has been a favoured part of the Wentworth scenery for generations of locals and travellers. As the gateway to the outback it is the ideal spot to drop in for a bite to eat, or a quick pot on the way home from work. There's a great range of
We had lunch last week, grilled fish with salad and pork pie with vegetables. The pie and fish were cooked beautiful but the vegetables were raw and the salad was drenched in dressing which spoilt the meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A very relaxed atmosphere.Hi there Judith, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We had a staff member finish up with us last week and there was a lack of care / attention to detail in what was served to some customers in the final days. I am very sorry that this affected your meal, I should have been aware of this on the day to rectify it for you. We pride ourselves on serving great food every time, and hope to see you again to impress your socks off! Kind regards, Rachel

We had 5x lunch specials $10 each. Cheese burgers, fish and chips, old school rissoles and mash. Was not expecting such generous servings for $10 a dish!Cold that day, we sat in the bar near the fire. Staff were super relaxed and friendly. Canât go wrong for a value family lunch. Walk in and enjoy the relaxed country atmosphere!I particularly liked the 1948 invincible cricketing photo with âThe Donâ on the wall.
Three days of opening this restaurant, located in the Wentworth Grande Resort, is already becoming the talk of Wentworth, with a great chef cooking a variety of meals to suit all tastes, from 6am daily. After the recent closure of another popular eattery, this is a wonderful new option for locals and those staying in The Resort's accommodation. The group I dined with ate a variety of meals including SA Coffin Bay Oysters, Grilled Barramundi and salad, Chicken Parmigiana and Fillet Steak, all good servings and cooked to perfection. Wait staff were a little slow as still learning the ropes, but they'll improve, as they were friendly and eager to assist.

We attended the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club recently on a Wednesday and went to their Vineyard bistro for lunch. We ordered a lasagne and chips and fish and chips from the specials board. We were pleasantly surprised to find the cost to be a mere $5.00 each and then we were further impressed when we found that we were also entitled to a fresh bread roll and full access to a very large salad bar. The meals were fine and the variety of salads topped it off. All the staff and particularly the young lady who took our orders were very polite, helpful and friendly. Even if you are a fussy type you could not disagree that this is real value for money. I would certainly go back again. A big thumbs up to the bistro and club.
