Erica hotel Motor Inn is Home of the Hot Rock. This is an experience everyone should have. Choose your own meat whether it be rump, porterhouse or eye fillet and cook to your liking. Other dishes available on Hot Rock is seafood, lamb, kangaroo and crocod
Was told donât bother by a lady in a cafe in Walhalla but took a chance given the alright reviews on this site. Was not disappointed thankfully. We had pizzas, garlic prawns and burger. All was fantastic. Saw the Parmaâs and the hot rock steaks which also looked amazing (I just canât be bothered cooking my own - I donât pay good money to cook my own but thatâs just my opinion). Although gloomed easy enough. We are going back to the cafe in the morning to let the cafe worker know that she was wrong. But also thanks to the lady at the Mountain Rivers Tourist park where we are staying that also recommended this place.

We came here for breakfast one morning and the friendly welcome and cosy cafe were exactly what we needed. The food was great and the scones had just come out of the oven, which we had to indulge in. You can also read about the history of the area on the walls with multiple photos and family histories. Thanks so much for your lovely review of 1914.We look forward to you visiting again .CheersMark & Jodie

So...the location is great, a quiet part of the area and it has great rustic value. But, when we arrived just after opening and waited 80 minutes for food, with a toddler, it turned what we were hoping would be a quiet night into a stressful and late night for our daughter. The meals, when they arrived were poor, one lamb cutlet was raw and the veggies felt like they had been zapped in a microwave. I get it was school holidays and was busy, and you have signs alerting people it can take awhile, but 80 minutes was poor.

Loved our meal very much. Great service too. Would have loved the fire on & a bit of a warmer room & ambience.

The Greyhorse Café serves Pastries, sweet treats, cakes, hot & cold drinks.
Had a quick coffee and a sausage roll here. Sat outside in the sun and watched the 4x4 traffic pass by. Only one car every 10 mins so not too busy. Brekky is also available here. The place is attached to the Star Hotel and was rebuilt at the same time in 1998. Inside dining is also available. Thanks for the review, however just to clarify a few factual errors... 1. we do not serve breakfast, so if you after bacon and eggs youâll need to try some where else. 2. Our cafe was built 4 years after the Walhallaâs Star Hotel was constructed. Thanks again for your view we are pleased you enjoyed your time with us here in Walhalla

Looking for a bite before our trip home to Melbourne, we stopped here.Just hoping for something sufficient to get us home. What we came across was an absolute breakfast fit for any high end café in inner Melbourne. The lady who served us is an absolute credit to this tiny yet exceptionally friendly town. I had the bacon and egg toastie, my wife, poached eggs with avo. Coupled with a flat white and a soy capp. All sensational.Cheers, it is always encouraging to get positive feedback. We hope your year has been sensational too!

What a gorgeous little village Walhalla is.So much history to see as you walk around. It's extra unusual as most of the old Miners Cottages & houses are are all built on the side of the high cliffs.Even the Cemetery which is very strange.Lovely old Railway Train trip.Great little shops & Cafés to go to.We went to The Wally Pub for lunch & we were told they are big serves & they were from what we saw.We decided on 3 starter dishes which were excellent.Highly Recommend for a great day out.
