This has got to be of the best pubs we have eaten at in quite a while. The hot rocks scotch fillet was delicious. Have had a few of these at other places but this was probably the best. It was a very nice piece of decent sized meat. The salad and chips were terrific also. Good friendly service, reasonably priced drinks equals a must visit when in Wagga Wagga.

Got here at 745 pm in a Thursday night. It was half full. Grabbed a menu, decided then went to the counter to order food and drinks Rather abruptly told by the waitress they were sold out of steak. Ok second choice was the salmon - guess what? Sold out of salmon too. So not left with a lot of choice if you donât like pizza. So we left and had a great Thai dinner nearby. Is there a shortage of fish and cows in this country that we donât know about? How could a popular restaurant sell out of beef and fish by 745pmReminiscent of queuing for bread in Soviet Russia in the 1980âs?? If youâre not first in theyâre gonna run out.And we thought the two staff members we spoke to weâre rude and in the wrong profession (not suited to the service industry) Hey Johnboy3bw, Can you email [email protected] so we can hear more about who you may have spoken to. In saying that, sometimes we do run out of various items - because we don't rely on food out of the freezer and base it on par levels. Regardless - apologies we couldn't get you your 1st and 2nd options. And we totally agree that Thaigga (not too far from us) is a fantastic dining option. Cheers Thirsty

Went for dinner off the back of good reviews, as we are from WA.. They may have been having an off night , the service was good and the waitress was so helpful and friendly .. but the food we had , duck was really salty and over cooked , as was the calamari and the ravioli just tasted like butter is what was said. It also took just under an hour to get our food . As I said maybe short staffed in the kitchen but disappointing food .. canât fault the service .Hello,Thanks for your feedback! Great to hear you enjoyed our service but apologies about your meals. We definitely strive to create unique, contemporary dishes for our diners but sounds like we missed the mark for you. We hope you decide to give us another try in future as we're constantly changing & evolving our menu. This is part of the philosophy of our restaurant.Kind Regards, Robert@BAY85

Visited Uneke twice for breakfast on a recent trip to Wagga. The coffee was good, the meals tasty and the staff managed the big crowds very well!Day 1 I had the smashed avocado which I enjoyed although strangely the bread wasn't toasted so was a little soggy. I preferred my day 2 choice of the corn fritters with an added poached egg - delicious! This is a really nice cafe and I would happily have breakfast here again! Hi kjc9009Thank you so much for stopping in & enjoying our cafe. We love hearing feedback like this. I do apologise for the un-toasted toast. Our corn-fritters definitely are a favourite. We hope to see you again.

Had breakfast here when we stayed upstairs at the Townhouse. We both got the big breaky - chipata, bacon, tomato, eggs, toast and hash brown. The food was good - but the chef making it wasnât. Iâve just had shoulder surgery and got my right arm in a sling. I asked her if she could be so nice as to cut up my breaky a bit before she sent it out. (Just so I didnât have to feel like a child in front of everyone Dining there and pass my plate over to my partner to do it) But, when I politely ask she very abruptly said âI canât do thatâ laughed and walked awayWhat?? Did she not pass her knife skills training at cooking school. In the too hard basket for her to cut an egg and bacon up a bit?We should have left and gone elsewhere - definitely wonât eat here again and suggest you donât eitherDear Sir,Thank you for reviewing the Townhouse Hotel, I would like to discuss this with you, could you please contact me directly?Kind Regards

Located at the Best Western Plus Charles Sturt Suites & Apartments, the Roundabout Restaurant in Wagga is only 300m from the main street and provides the perfect setting for a relaxed night out, romantic occasion or your next celebration.
I've travelled extensively and the last thing I expected was world class cuisine from a restaurant connected to a hotel in Wagga Wagga. We were in town to attend a wedding and ate at the Roundabout Restaurant the night before the wedding. The 2 and 3 course menus are absolutely amazing. We had a group of 20 of us and everyone was very impressed with the food, the efficiency of staff, the wine list, the ambience. It was absolutely amazing and the chefs, especially, should be congratulated. WOW.Hi macandmui,Thank you for taking the time to rate and review our restaurant - we are glad to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us finding everything impressive. We will pass your kind words onto the chefs. We would love to have you dine with us again next time you visit Wagga Wagga.

Stopped for lunch on Easter Sunday and what great meals we received. The restaurant was quite busy and our meals arrived at our table quickly. The servings were plentiful and well presented and tasted great. All staff were very friendly and pleasant. Looking at returning soon for theâ boysâ to do the Tomahawk Challenge. All five are looking forward to it.Hi there, thanks for the great review! We are looking forward to seeing you back here to take on the challenge!
