Excellent service, prompt and friendly wait staff and plate to table time excellent. However, the omlette was dull with little taste or texture. With the combination of ingredients, goats cheese, spiced cauliflower and parsley I expected some great flavours. Not the case. Disappointing.

Super cool crew expertly serving perfectly roasted smooth coffee. Appealing brunch menu to suit all. The BLAT on Turkish bread was fresh, filling and super tasty with the home made mayo. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

This is a great suburban bistro/bottle-shop. The restaurant space is lovely and the menu has a good hearty selection. The chefs do a very good job on the entrees and main. The Prosciutto/roasted fig/tomato/burrata is fantastic. The main was a dry-aged duck breast, but it came in a sort of pasty - which took my by surprise...but...it was truly delicious and I could have happily eaten another one! The wine list is extensive and seems to be priced at 'bottle-shop" prices which is a nice change. The only issue we found was with dessert. We went for the crepe suzette but this interpretation is not as good as the original/expected version. The crepes were cold and had dollops of flavoured cream inside them. It still tasted ok, just not what they were made out to be. Service was good. Would go again, but ask more questions as I was ordering.

Unique little find in Thornbury on the #86 tram line.Delicious and nutritious brunch with lots of options to choose from!Staff were knowledgeable and understanding of the dietary needs (an paranoia) of a Coeliac and assured us they have a separate area in the kitchen to prepare food. Plate size is generous and the food is fantastically presented! We loved it so much we went back the next day! Very highly recommended.

We had a lovely afternoon at Northern Git when a family member held an after christening gathering at the venue. The family had the venue exclusively. The space was enough to hold over 70 people some sitting some standing with room to move around and a display table for the presents and cakes. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food was plentiful, tasty and a good variety of finger food that came out in rounds.Chicken satay sticksCroquettes Falafel wraps Duck pancakesGnocchiFish and chipsKataifi wrapped prawnsGreat venue for small to medium celebrationsThey also offer off site catering as

I have to admit this is not the sort of place Iâd normally visit, but I was pleasantly surprised - particularly by the service and food. When we arrived it was packed at 6pm on a sunday night. There were families and lots of blokes. It was bustling and smoky! We started with the KFC - Kentucky fried cauliflower - which was nice and crunchy. However, the real star here is the meat. We shared lamb ribs (soft and unctuous), the grilled spatchcock (moist and smoky), plus the caramel wagyu ribs - which were a sensation. We thought it all just needed a few more veges. The slaw was OK, the mash was nice and plates also came with grilled bread. The overall dishes were not pretty, but uber tasty. The service was friendly and we were kept up to date about our order, which had been delayed. There were vego options - and people were raving about the meat donuts. Maybe next time!

Like others, we also were a little disappointed with the low level of service. My motto is simply, happy to pay the higher end for our meals but the service must match the pricing. Non attentive, slow and other than for one staff member, unfriendly! Our meals on the other hand were magnificent! We went with the degustation menu, one vegetarian and one no seafood. The textures and combination of flavours combined with creativity was a credit to the team of chefs. Every meal was really a beautiful experience.
