This historic tavern was brought to life in 1902, only 33 km from Perth GPO. Our tavern offers locals and tourists alike a traditional Australiana pub with a country feel that appeals to families offering a large beer garden to relax in, lounge, bar and p
While the shared platter was more than ample for two, the tavern lacked atmosphere at 4.00pm on a Sunday afternoon. Standard olives, chorizo, fetta and dips plus squid rings were supplemented by several slices of white bread. There's very little gluten free or dairy free on the menu to choose from. We headed home within the hour. The main advantage - there was no need for an evening meal.

Good selection of beers and wines, well worth getting your timing right to make the most out of the happy hour .Food is excellent and a notch above what else is available in the Perth hills. An alternative to the more laid back traditions hills pub
The reason I have given this cafe an excellent rating isn't because they have the best food on the planet, but rather because if you consider that they're essentially in the middle of nowhere with zero competition anywhere close, their food is amazingly good coupled with a really friendly service. The cafe itself is clean and well decorated with a good variety to choose from. We had lunch and no one had any complaints.

Whilst on a road trip headed for Kalgoorlie we were recommended Dome as a place to get breakfast at. On arrival, 7:30am on a Sunday, there were already customers sat outside having their breakfast. The choice is excellent as is the service. Very tasty food, well presented and reasonably priced. The entire venue is very welcoming. Toilet facilities, including disabled, onsite. Parking is directly outside. Overall a very nice place to refuel before continuing your journey.
Attended last Saturday morning with friends and even on entering liked the open, clean feel about the place. There were tables of different sizes spread around the room so catering for different sized groups. The tables are not piled on one another like so many places, allowing room to move and not have everyone in on your conversations.Range of different sized meals and some interesting additions on the plate I had a big breakfast and amazing no hash brown. Instead a savoury fritter with a slight chilli warmth - just a pep on a morning out. There was a range of groups and all seemed to be getting stuck into the food. The coffee was great and I mean really great. The place has a simple decor and the young staff are eager to help, friendly and cheerful. What a change from some places where the staff treat you as an annoyance , here the food was delivered quickly and hot to our table and we all were stunned at how good it all was.Great start to the weekend.

We had an evening meal here when we were staying in the area for the weekend. Weâd also popped in the beer garden in the afternoon. The beer garden is great for kids and adults! No dogs are allowed for those who are wondering. We ate our evening in meal in the restaurant area. Staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. I had the vegetable enchilada which was huge and very substantial for a veggie dish. We all finished with the apple and berry crumble which was magnificent. This is a lovely family friendly pub with something for everyone.Thank you for your great review! We hope to see you again very soon! We have our new Winter Menu out now, with some new veggie options, so hopefully you can come again soon and have an equally good experience!

Dinner here was fantastic.400g porterhouse (cooked medium) with baked potatoes and veges, and fettuccini carbonara. Enjoyed the above with a Tasmanian pinot noir.Service was friendly and very proficient. They have table clothes! I love it when there are table clothes. So civilised. (Just like my mum).~$140 for food and drinks, for two. Well worth the price.

This cottage cafe is our favourite food stop. Paul and Lynda make everyone feel welcome and offer a lunch or morning tea menu to suit everyone. Their winter soups, corned beef sandwiches, salmon bagels, wonderful salads and much more make choices difficult. The on site gift and sweet shops add to the experience.

The place is old, but the service is too, that is you get great service, smile included, for FREE ! The food here is absolutely great value for money, as good if not better than some restaurants, and the great thing is, we have dined here several times over the last 2 months, same service, meals EXCELLENT EVERY time ! It's a hidden gem, maybe should keep this to ourselves but no, these folk deserve a great review.
