We visited the Moss Vale Services Club for lunch recently whilst visiting the Southern Highlands. On arrival, we were advised that the restaurant was closed due to a heavy storm the night before which caused some flooding. We decided to have a refreshment in the bar area and will try the Club again next time we visit, and we hope to have a better outcome.

Love the coffee here and the slices are super, better than my own cooking which means there good. Always something interesting to look at when you stop here for a coffee.
Newly renovated cafe with modern food, pleasant place relax and soon to have a license to sell beer and wine
Top spot, right across from train station and handy for travellers. We had Caesar salad and Roast Beef roll, both were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for over 20 years and totally disagree with the negative reviews about the food. We sometimes eat here at night but generally have lunch with friends during the week. The lunchtime specials are well priced with a glass of wine and their John Dory is always fresh and beautifully cooked. Sure the salads are basic and the atmosphere is not trendy but it's a family owned and run restaurant and I have never been disappointed with the food quality or service in all the years that I have been eating there. We travel overseas frequently and dine at top restaurants so we are not making any comparisons but recognise Seafood Affair for what it is, simple fare at moderate prices and always consistent.

In Katers you can expect to see the very best of amazing local Artisan produce, cooked with respect, using techniques old and new, dishes that showcase elegance and sophistication, refinement and true flavours of our region. We have the largest kitchen ga
We were looking forward to a special anniversary dinner at Katers having booked a room at Peppers as part of the experience. Everything about the venue lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely, the food delicious and the service was of a high standard, friendly but not pretentious. I considered the prices reasonable, particularly for the standard of everything. We would return without hesitation.

A warm, welcoming café which revolves around friendly customer service and high quality, healthy meals. Serves anything from a quick coffee and warm muffin to a hearty winter lunch. Opened in early 2016, The Vale combines Southern Highlands authenticity w
Stopped here with the family on the way through on boxing day. Couldn't be happier! The owner and staff were super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks were great even on a day when the cafe was operating with reduced options and limited capacity in the kitchen due to the holiday.Vale Cafe, thanks for providing somewhere to rest and refuel ourselves with tasty ingredients when most other places were closed =)

We recently visited the Southern Highlands with two other couples, and this restaurant proved a delightful find. The staff were warm and inviting, and happy to have a chat about their restaurant and the local area. The contemporary ambience of the space is cosy, yet tasteful and restrained. We our evening with a tartare snack which set the tone for the evening. This delicious morsel was designed to start the taste buds humming and it was met with approval from our entire party! I ordered the chowder for my entree, and the presentation was impressive and the quality outstanding. My only complaint is that it was a very large serving! For my main meal I indulged in the 36 hour wagyu beef cheek, whilst my partner had the Black Angus. Both were superb, and the beef cheek was melt in the mouth as you would expect. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Birch and wouldn't hesitate recommending it if you are after quality food served in an original and inventive manner. We hope to be back one day in the not too distant future.

This café is in the Moss Vale Mall which runs between the main road (Argyle Street) and the shopping centre car park. We had lunch here on two different days and found the service consistently sharp, welcoming and professional. They offer table service and the menu has plenty of options, including daily specials, at very reasonable prices. On our first visit our food was delivered very quickly. On our second visit it took a long time for lunch to arrive - maybe this was because one of us ordered risotto. I did notice other tables received their orders a lot faster. Regardless of this little glitch, the food was excellent quality, plentiful, and piping hot. We would definitely return to this café.

The Cellar Door in Berrima is home to our Tasting Room in an iconic building that once was established by the late Carina Cox as a flourishing retail shop that sold antiques and old wares. While keeping the heart and soul of the original building intact,
My husband and I plus another couple had an amazing lunch here today, the food was fantastic, started with a Ploughman's board to start between 4 (quite ample) plus Salt & Pepper Prawns and Twice Baked Gruyere Souffle for mains, all beautiful! The restaurant itself has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable and not noisy. Staff were excellent (especially our waitress, Brenda)! We didn't feel rushed at all, all in all a lovely experience which we will definitely do again!
