Saturday lunch outside in restaurant area. Lovely surrounds and restaurant was very busy. A table of four, we all ordered something different from the menu, which was varied and reasonably priced. Chef was happy to grill the fish rather than my friend having to have it battered and fried. All meals were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were polite and friendly and knowledgeable, though too few of them, thus, the service was very very slow. It was extremely difficult to get their attention and I had to go inside to the counter to request service as we were wanting drinks and desserts. Such a great venue, ......staff shortage the only thing lacking.

We had a group booking for a high tea - my very first high tea experience. I was really impressed! The food was delicious & there was a big variety as well. I particularly loved the lavender macarons - I could've eaten a couple more of these for sure. The staff were lovely & nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is very popular & it was pretty much full this particular day. Thoroughly recommend!

My wife and I had lunch on Tuesday 13/08/19 at Padburys Café Restaurant the décor is very historic, the choice of meals quite extensive. I had the Steak Sandwich and my wife the Beer Battered Whiting, both meals were cooked just right and were very enjoyable along with a nice glass of white wine., from a local vineyard.

Has a lot of charm about it, and certainly has a lot of character as well. Service was okay, but the beer selection was good. A little crowded, but still quite charming.

My wife and I went to the 7th Avenue for dinner. No reservation but there was plenty of spare tables. Waiting at the âplease wait here for serviceâ sign at the restaurant. The waitress asked if we had a reservation to which we replied no, I asked for a table for 2 and was directed to sit outside of the designated restaurant area at tables set up for 2. These tables had no table clothes and are not very welcoming. I asked again to sit at the tables with table clothes in the restaurant area and was told we couldnât as the tables are set up for 4. I again asked for a table for 2 and was refused being told âthey are for 4â I said that if we were refused a table in the restaurant for 2 we would find another restaurant and wouldnât be back. The waitress just shrugged her shoulders and said âokâ.Over the years we have been to the 7th Avenue many times for dinner, lunch or just for a beer ad a couple and in groups. With that service we wonât be back again. The worst customer service we have ever experienced in a restaurant..... goodbye 7th Avenue......

Behind the global brand of Sandalford Wines lies a rich and fascinating history. Sandalfordâs establishing estate at Caversham, Swan Valley, had its genesis in 1840 and coincided with both European settlement in the burgeoning colony of Perth and the birt
1. Wine tasting: only booked groups are offered complimentary cheese board. When I questioned the policy, reply was "we are changing our policy soon to include everyone, not just booked groups". Not good enough. Won't benefit me today. Would it have killed them to offer us a bit of cheese today? A few people at the Cellar Door tastings were miffed by this, not just me. 2. Restaurant: overpriced main courses $43-48 for meat dishes. Pretentious.3. Tourist buses everywhere with sad and depressed looking groups who had realised they had been swindled and ripped off but couldn't escape their plight.4. Manager didn't even bother coming to talk to me about the nasty and discriminatory cheeseboard policy, and sent the wait staff instead. This implies a certain level of nastiness and snobbery of the management.5. This place will go bankrupt within 5 years as it has already passed its prime. Many competitors in the region who don't have the air of snobbery as this winery.6. Avoid this place.

We had garlic & herb bread for starters. The description being garlic but came out with grilled cheese on top and no garlic flavour that I could tell. Not sure if it was a mistake but it still tasted good. Mains were excellent and the bottled wines were good value. There was a little mix up with the desserts but that was rectified quickly. Coffee was excellent. A very picturesque winery if you are a keen photographer. Hi Junglegirl12,Thank you for taking your time to leave a review.
