As regulars at the Wharf Street Cafe, Nambucca Heads, we know the food will be fantastic and the coffee spot on, because it always is. However, it is the service that stands out here. The staff are always smiling, nothing is a drama, and they always go out of their way meet your every need. I can't recommend highly enough! Thanks so much! It's people like you who help make coming to work everyday a pleasure.
Upon entering the cafe the first thing I noticed was the used plates and cutlery on the tables. During our stay the same used plates and cutlery grew roots. We ordered a plate of chips and chicken nuggets for my son. Overall, it does what it says on the tin: nothing upmarket but just fast food.

For more than a hundred years the Heritage venue Macksville Hotel known locally as 'Bonsers' has served as an essential hub for the small river community of Macksville on the NSW coast. The hotel has recently been completely renovated with facilities at t
We didn't stay, but ate here one night and was very happy with our meal. The food was standard pub fare but servings were generous, especially with many meals under $10. The place seemed to be undergoing renovations, with the front part of the pub looking fresh, while the dining room at the back was a bit dated. There were a small handful of gluten-free options for my wife with everything marked on the menu. The staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful.

Stopped off with friends at The Blue Gum Cafe last week for lunch and what a splendid offering there was! My Summer Salad was delicious and others ate from a good menu things like wraps, burgers etc. The only leftovers were because of the size of the offerings.I plan to go one evening when they open later with a full menu - from what I have heard they then offer "fine dining".

Great to see a new restaurant in Macksville. We went with friends on the first occasion available for us and enjoyed the night. Having eaten in various tapas restaurants I found the menu a bit limited. The food the we did order was very good. The ambience and fit out of the restaurant was great and surprising for a rural eatery although I did comment that lighting was too low and made reading menus difficult. The previous comment regarding Chardonnay happened with us as well being assured that they had run out and the limited wine range was disappointing . We were told that Chardonnay and Riesling was ordered and would be in next week.Overall, a pleasant experience for Macksville.Food very good but small in size even for tapas. It was the view of all in our group that it was a good night, but value for money, no. Would we go again, only for a special occasion

Visited this iconic pub, the subject of a Gordon Parsons song, at Taylorâs Arm. The setting and the pub certainly are Australiana and very beautiful. Upon entering the bar we were immediately surrounded by historic memorabilia and the feeling of stepping back in history....The bar tender, an attractive woman greeted us immediately with a smile and efficient service and we started an easy conversation with her between serving other customers. Then there was Wade, the publican, âThe Publican with no Personalityâ..... there was no music playing in this iconic pub and considering it was the subject of a song well known and sung by Slim Dusty and Gordon Parsons youâd think that thereâd be some of their music playing in this bar. I started playing music on speaker on my iPhone as I sat at the bar and was greeted with smiles of approval from other patrons and what appeared to be a frown from the publican. Nice setting, cold beer, didnât try the food

Family business dairy farming water buffaloes. Cheese-makers & gelato creators. On-farm Café offers meals designed around our hand-made & farm-fresh cheeses, a taste of buffalo meat as well as exciting & indulging gelatos. Enjoy an idyllic ambience in the
Was expecting a different experience from the brochure. It turns out to be a well presented cage/restaurant a little off the beaten track. The buffalo ice cream went down well and we also purchased feta and buffalo sausages (limited range) The owner introduced us to the two young buffalos as we were about the leave and suggested we wonder down the back road for 5 minutes to view the herd grazing in the paddocks. Itâs a place for morning/afternoon tea and or lunch rather than sampling buffalo product. None the less an enjoyable venue.

The line was long to order and we were expecting a very long wait ....the wait to order was longer than the wait for the order to arrive ... we had the Cutlets and they were big and chunky ... mash was delicious and fluffy ... great meal
