We visited this cafe ten years ago when it was the Erskine River Tea House and were excited to return to its new bright incarnation, a conversation starter that was lost on staff who were more interested in locals popping in for coffee and their morning struggles. Coffee was delicious and the eggs Benedict I had was very tasty but the bagel it was served with was a bit chewy, sourdough bread would have been better. My wife who has all sorts of allergies was catered for with a couple of poached eggs and greens but paid over the top for this minimal dish. A great location, nice decor and great coffee were the positives.

The surrounds of the Qdos cafe are amazing. The tall leafy trees typical of the area are utilised beautifully around the outdoor settings of the cafe. We visited here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a delicious quinoa salad. The place was alive with customers with no one under the age of 50. Unfortunately the cliental set the vibe of the cafe to a sophisticated and exclusive level which was a shame. Another disappointment was the art around the garden was all dusty and covered in cobwebs, usually I wouldn't think anything of this but some artist is trying to sell their work for $3000 at your gallery and you can't even give it a brush down. Perfect place for a coffee and dining experience if you are over 50 from Melbourne.

We dined here on a Sunday night. Checked opening hours by phone beforehand and had a great chat with a "bloke" who invited us down "straight away" and he would make room for us! What a character Menu is varied and everything that we saw come out of the kitchen was fresh and wholesome looking.I enjoyed the Sea Bream and salad and my partner the Beef Lasagne and salad. At $50 for two mains, I thought this was really good value!Washed down with a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir. The place was packed, and full of happy diners.Well done all.

Popped in here for a coffee with a friend and I have never encountered such unfriendly staff, no waiters anywhere...ordered the 2 coffees at the window and then after 30 minutes waiting, we started asking where are the coffees?? We got a very rude reply. Donât bother coming here, go somewhere else in Lorne, lots to choose from and give this one a miss.

Visited over Easter. Great pub meal. Table service was good with waitresses attentive and food came out quickly. We shared oysters killpatrick which were delicious. I had the seafood Linguine with was one do the best Iâve had. Pasta cooked well and just enough seafood. Son and husband had a Parma which they said was really good too. Would recommend- particularly in busy times as the food and service were great. Dear fitzgermoranThank you for the fantastic review and we are all delighted to read that you enjoyed your experience with us at the Grand. We hope to see you and the family again soon.

Situated in the middle of Mountjoy Pde in picturesque Lorne, Cuda Bar and Restaurant offers great views of Louttit Bay from both the extensive balcony and indoors. Whether drinking or dining, Cuda Bar promotes a casual atmosphere accompanied by live music
The wait staff were friendly and helpful and the timing and quality of the food was great. There were enough options for small, medium and large appetites as well as catering to different dietary requirements. Stayed for afternoon drinks after lunch and the vibe was so relaxed and welcoming, we would have stayed for dinner if we didn't have to head home.
