Glad we came here again. Was impressed last year and just as good this time. Wife had chicken and avocado with seasonal veges. When ordered didn't think to ask if had any mushrooms in. Wife is allergic to mushrooms, so they replaced it with another serve with salad and chips. Wife got a complimentary drink even though it wasn't really their fault. Bonus points for that.Waitress and chef both very pleasant and obliging. Grandson had small pizza with the lot and I had lamb pizza. Both delicious. Mains weren't cheap but pizza and pasta are ok price wise. Had a 25% entertainment discount which made it great value.Highly recommended.

My partner and I stopped in here for some lunch. Heaps of yummy things to chose from on the menu. We had trouble deciding. I had the Fried Chicken Burger and my partner had a quinoa chickpea falafel. See phots attached. My partner loved her meal. Regarding my burger, I wish it was just one piece of fried chicken fillet instead of 3 chicken strips. Still tasted good.
Banjo's Bakery Café is a bakery café with a difference. We combine freshly baked breads, sweets, savouries, pies & pastries with quality espresso in a dine-in café environment. We really do have something for everyone!
Came here with 3 other people. I had the Scallop Pie. It was nice except it lacked seasoning really badly. Someone else in our group bought a scone and I went to get them a knife. Took me 4 goes before I got one that was clean. The other 3 had food still stuck to the end of the knife. Was disgusting. Everything else was fine but canât get past dirty cutlery.
Unfortunately I have not had a decent piece of fish from here yet. The first 2 times it was undercooked and this last time it was not fresh and the batter was disgusting and we had to throw out the 3 pieces we ordered. The Dagwood dog was undercooked. The potato cakes are small. In my last 2 orders they have missed something out which is really annoying. Wonât be going back again. The service is not friendly either. Such a shame. See picture of battered fish below.
Although general prices are higher than Coles and Woolworths this shop has all the delights of Tasmanian produce. If you are after specialty items this is the place to go.

i had lunch at this little restaurant last week. we were attended to quickly even though the restaurant was busy. the coffee was lovely not bitter at all and the bacon and eggs i ordered were well cooked and the portion generous. I had dessert as well. i was pleasantly surprised when paying the bill to find that the whole meal was under 30 dollars. a restaurant well worth trying if you are in Latrobe.
This would have to be the best bakery around Devonport Latrobe area. Pastries are wonderfully satisfying , coffee hits the spot and the sweets look all time . I don't go much on cakes but I did try the apple cake and it was amazing , the icing not too sweet , just a perfect cake really . go there if you love a good bakery

My wife and I were travelling from Launceston to Burnie and stopped here for dinner one night. Service was polite and friendly and meals were delivered pretty quickly. There was a great selection of meals and we ordered and entree size each, which was plenty for us. And reasonably priced. Good selection of Tasmanian wines to choose from as well. We would have not hesitation dining here again. Recommend.

Recently had lunch here after going to Latrobe shopping. I had the Chorizo arranccini balls with salad was fantastic. Also try a glass of Ghost rock pinot gris very nice. Thanks for your review Naomi. The arancini was a special of the day that will have to make an appearance again soon! Our range of locally made Ghost Rock wines also make a great accompaniment to most meals too.Kind regards
