Katherine is a relatively small town and there are few restaurants and cafe's.
Great little cafe, service was good. Polite & informative staff, loved the old nostalgia on the walls. Reminds me of when i was a cinematographer using the the old reels for theatre.Best of all was the food, very good & filling breakfast.Would highly reccomend.

We're a sports bar located in Beautiful Katherine, NT. The Katherine Club is located close to the town centre and offers air-conditioned comfort, live entertainment most weekends, monster raffles and the coldest beer in the town!
We were not too thrilled about our accommodation in Katherine but when we Googled for restaurants, we liked the menu and also found they had a courtesy bus. Loved the food. Very nice staff, broad ranging menu and reasonable prices. Good prices for drinks as well. Liked it so much we went back the next night!
My sister and I have regular catchups over breakfast here. The food is always fresh and cooked onsite by trainees and staff. I particularly like quiet atmosphere because the carpet absorbs the noise. Great for people with hearing issues and it's the only cafe in Katherine serving coffee from 7 am to 4pm M-F. Oh and the plants are gorgeous too...

Relaxed bistro-style restaurant with Glycol Beer Tap system, Kids Playground, Daily Specials, and Live music.
We had a late meal here - 8pm - and the staff were chirpy and helpful. It had a nice vibe. The food was average to good. And after visiting a few other places in Katherine - is one of the better places to eat.

The atmosphere and the staff were on point. We had sundowners, dinner and breakfast here. Perfect location for sundowners beside the pool with a great view, wine and horderves. The dinner was well prepared, modern and tasty even though it was a set menu (they do let you modify it for dietary requirements). Wine menu could do with more premium selections to match the location and the food. The continental breakfast was plentiful and well presented, a great start to the day.

The Fig Tree Bistro is a seasonal restaurant open for dinner Wednesdays to Sundays during the dry season May to October. Licensed venue, no BYO alcohol. Happy hour from 5pm and meal service from 5.30pm. The Bistro is situated under a large Fig Tree within
The Bistro is set in a lovely location in which to enjoy the popular warm evenings sitting under the fig tree and enjoying a delicious meal. Excellent variety, something for every one including several vegetarian options, and if one desires a nice dessert to follow! Can't get much better than that when we think of our friends down south hibernating due to the cold weather!! No point being old and cold, just get out and enjoy life why we can!

I just spent the last 6 months living in Kununurra. That town is smaller and probably dodgier than this one, but good grief at least their country club looks inviting and has a nice setting. They put in an effort. When you hear the term âcountry clubâ I see rolling green lawns, beautiful gardens, well dressed guests and maybe even a valet out front. The Katherine Country Club is a dive. Hidden out in a dark part of town, I was almost too scared to eat here but given Iâm stuck in Katherine due to my car breaking down and Arriving back into town after dark when it isnât safe for females to walk around .... this was my only option as it does offer a courtesy bus service to and from anywhere in town (which I will say is a plus). I ordered a steak (because at least Iâd probably be pretty safe ) alas. It was over cooked, heavily in oil ... and it came with the option of helping yourself to salad or vegetables in a Bain Marie. Goodness knows how long any of it had been sitting there so I steered clear of that. Sincerely wishing I had just ordered Dominoes from my motel room.
