Three of us went here for lunch 'on the off chance'. The setting is less than salubrious but the food was well above expectation. Beautifully fresh, well presented and excellent quality. Definitely worth revisiting. It became quite busy but the service remained at a high standard.

Visiting the Huon Valley, was enhanced by a visit to Franks. A quaint setting and excellent displays of history in the apple industry was in addition to good food. A range of ciders was available to taste, and wholesome food available. There was even a goat to pat!Glad you had a great time Lady HAS :) Sorry for the delayed response!!

Tasty and interesting place that requires planning to visit. Very limited opening hours but well worth the effort. A more unusual dining experience where the relationship between food served and where it came from was emphasized (the surrounding farm). Driving down to cockle creek to go hiking, we stopped in at this cafe in Port Huon. Which we couldâve stayed longer, such a great spot. Takeaway coffee was good, but the amazing selection of baked goods including delicious home made pies and sausage rolls was fantastic. Wish we couldâve eaten more, very tasty!

I would recommend Geeveston Roadhouse to anyone. They have the best homemade pies, especially the minted lamb (to die for), in the country. Sweets are all also made on the premises and most are some of the old home style cakes, slices and biscuits, yummy! Reasonable coffee and some wonderful other food selections.

HUGE main course (should've ordered entree size), so much so could not fit in dessert. Staff attentive and pleasant. View across the Harbour is serene and adds to the experience. This place has a bit of everything for the tourist passing through. We were able to select a good light 'fast food' option and enjoy the quirkiness of the place at the same time. The lady who served us was a delight.
