We went there for a show and werent disappointed. The two acts rocked and we were as up close and personal as you could get. As many have said already...its a (positive) intimate atmosphere. The staff we spoke to were attentive and helpful.Dont know about the food, as we ate before arriving (didnt know they serve food).A great night, and wouldnt hesitate to follow our favourite acts there in the future.

(3.5 stars)While the light, airy, glass-fronted architectural bones remain the same, the outdoor furniture has had a spruce up since my last visit to The Nunsâ Pool. Square ottomans have given way to white wire chairs that suit the indoor-outdoor vibe of the popular terrace. With the sun beating down and blue skies for days, we kick off with craft brews plucked from the local area. Sunday Road Brewingâs Enigma Ale ($10) is a pale ale brewing using Tasmanian hops less than ten clicks up the road in Kirrawee. I find it light, crisp and refreshing. By comparison, Hairy Man Breweryâs Lawsons Legend Pale Ale ($10) from Caringbah (just five kilometres away) has more malt and bitterness, making it a less attractive proposition on a hot day. The strong locavore game here allows us to complete all our drinking without leaving the state by moving onto an enjoyable Southern Highlands 2017 Dawning Day Chardonnay ($12/glass) with grapefruit and vanilla notes from the wine list, and an eye-catching Ink Gin ($12) from the short cocktail selection. The latter is based upon a Northern Rivers gin by the same name, which it earns through a clever colour-change from blue to dusky mauve that occurs when itâs combined with tonic (or any drink with a low pH).Two little bowls of beetroot and feta, and avocado and dukkah, are positioned at either end of three pita pockets on the Hummus Plate ($12). Having spent the morning swimming at the nearby Oak Park rock pool, we arrive hungry, so find the dish tasty but a bit on the stingy side for sharing. After specifying clearly that I wanted my Swordfish ($30) to arrive rare in the centre, I was disappointed to receive a small, thin and overcooked piece of game fish. Perched on an under-seasoned blend of charred corn, black beans and red rice, it's crowned with a mango salsa topper that isnât quite moist enough to save the stringy, dry fish. The Nunsâ Reuben ($15) fares better with pastrami, gruyere, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing cushioned between slices of rye bread, with a fan of house-made cucumber pickles. While it wins on flavour, this American-inspired sandwich is a fair bit smaller than similarly priced city cousins Iâve eaten. Not willing to outlay any more cash, we head over the road to enjoy the real advantage of this venue: the Shelly Beach ocean pool. Itâs located in the spot where the Sisters of Mercy nuns used to bathe, which provided this restaurant with its name.

Great people, great atmosphere, and amazing food. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had to order more. Prices are reasonable compared to other locations and portions are filling. Should definitely try this place out if you have time on your hands.

Contemporary sharing plates and delectable drinks.
Have to say that any place rarely delivers on Motherâs Day/Fatherâs Day. This was no exception. The food was lovely but the $59 price tag for a set menu of shared table food was overpriced and we were all still hungry. As were the diners at the other tables I spoke with. There were lots of unhappy patrons! The menu was misrepresented, despite several emails with the manager beforehand to clarify, I still didnât end up with what I felt I had been promised. To make matters worse the staff didnât care nor made any apology. I would go again for a regular dinner but never again on Motherâs Day.

One of my favourite places to go for brunch. Inside was very crowded/noisy so we sat outside (even though it was raining we were sheltered). My friend ordered stuffed capsicum (very yummy) with side salad. I ordered toasted vegetarian sandwich (sweet potato, carrot, cheese etc) which was very very nice. Top it off with almond milk coffee and a chai for me! Ordering was very easy: helpful, charming, friendly staff (waiters/waitresses served food quickly). I have had (multiple times) Portuguese toast and warm apple granola. Too many yummy options for me to choose: I'll be back!

Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the option of a table in the sunshine. Both the salmon and the gnocchi meals were excellent.Coffees were good but mine could of been a bit hotter.Service was fairly quick and staff pleasant.Watch out for the credit/debit card surcharge.(why canât businesses build these costs into the prices?).Would like to go again and there seemed to be other nice meals on the menu

The location is excellent, with magnificent views of the beach and sea. The service was excellent by a Vancouver Island waitress. We had their seafood platter, for 2 at $150. It was excellent and very well worth the price. The selection of hot and cold seafood was very well presented and beautifully prepared and cooked. A most enjoyable meal. Also, on certain days it is BYO, a great plus.

Sealevel is a beachfront restaurant located on the esplanade at Cronulla Beach. Offering unsurpassed views of the coastline from every table, you will be able to admire the beach from our floor to ceiling windows, whilst enjoying your dining experience fr
If service is important to you, then it does not get much better here. A family run business that treat their Clientele as VIPs. The food is always fresh, suit a broad taste range and well presented. The views, sea breeze, waves hitting the rocks and the salt air smell , remind you where you are and elevate the experience. I am local and have eaten here countless times and will keep coming back. If you are up for something a little less formal but just as good, then I recommend the sister restaurant which is literally "Next Door".
