Stumbled on the restaurant looking for a late lunch.We sat outside which was lovely as the restaurant is an old house elevated. The service was discreet and appropriate.The menu not extensive. We ordered several appetisers and entree which was so fresh and beautifully presented. I would definitely go for dinner. The only disappointment was they did not serve coffee which was an abrupt end to the meal.The peanut parfait for desert was to die for.A great place for that special meal.

We called in for a quick snack and found the service to be wonderful. We ordered the natural oysters, which were fresh and sweet and came with a nice, light sauce that went perfectly. We also ardered the sashimi tasting plate for two, which was amazing! A good combination of textures and flavours that made me wish we had ordered one each.

Ordered seafood platter for 3. Scallops were way overcooked and tough, very unpleasant to eat so we left them. Bbq octopus also very tough. Lobster was nicely cooked but drowning in mornay sauce so you could barely taste the lobster. Salt & pepper calamari, kilpatrick oysters and moreton bay bugs were delicious. Lovely service.Thanks for your feedback, overcooked seafood and too much sauce is never pleasant. Weâve passed on your message to the kitchen to see what went wrong. Donât forget, our chefs are always happy to hear from you during your meal, so they can fix any problems on the spot and make sure you leave happy. We hope you give us another try soon.

In Wollongong on business and chose Lower East Cafe for lunch. Very quirky menu offering foods that are anything but the 'norm!' I had 'Bitter Sweet': basically a salad with red cabbage, lettuce, capers, walnuts, mandarin, marinated cabbage, a beautiful dressing plus I optioned halloumi: very enjoyable! Lower East have a reputation for superb coffee, although I didn't indulge today. Multi-cultural Wollongong serves up a winner!

Got home delivery tonight, first time, was beautiful. The pizza was full of flavour and definitely not shy on the toppings. Very friendly phone/delivery staff. Was a wait due to them getting slammed but I didn't mind at all, these things happen.. Was so appreciative that they threw in a garlic bread and a discount for the timing. Very caring for their customers. Great VALUE! Will be back for sure and definitely telling my friends and family about this gem. Thank you!

we had the Wagyu steak, this is the best steak as there is always very little fat on their cuts of steak. I also had the Cajun fries with my meal. My wife had the salmon, all the food our party had was very good and the service was excellent.How good are the cajun fries?? The are definitely very popular!!! Visited Frank n Beans for the first time in a long time. The atmosphere was quite busy being Sunday, however it was difficult to have a conversation inside due to excessive noise.Thee coffee station was very efficient serving good coffee and take away to the line up of customers.Our family waited 40 minutes for meals to be served and it was unfortunate that the wait was not worth it.Eggs were overdone and meals looked a little thrown together.

What takes the restaurant to the next level is the singular vision that runs through your whole experience. Celebrating local produce is not a new concept, but creating something unique while also stirring memories of classic Australian fare - thatâs truly an accomplishment. For example, the damper may be the best damper that youâve ever tasted, but the fact that itâs served on a bowl of smoldering gum leaves that reminds you of every camp fire youâve ever had - thatâs when nostalgia mixes with new flavours in a way that leaves you feeling both comfortable and inspired. Other dishes, like magpie goose prove the restaurantâs commitment to working closely with their suppliers to understand and celebrate unique products (they are one of only three restaurants in the country to use this ingredient and itâs supplied by the only licensed provider in Australia). The restaurant is also focused on reducing food waste and works with the charity Hidden Harvest to provide regular community dinners from food that otherwise would have been thrown out. This approach is also used in their restaurant where little goes to waste. In other words, every single aspect of your experience has been thought through and is an expression of the ownersâ values and vision. Great little Italian restaurant in Corrimal. This restaurant provided an intimate atmosphere & great attentive service without being obtrusive.The meals were superb, and a little complimentary sample and a complementary port after dinner were greatly enjoyed and appreciated.I had the Squid ink Linguini with scallops and prawns. Delicious.The Tiramisu with Persian fairy floss on top is a must.
