Six of us had lunch at this wonderful restaurant last week. We ordered the three course meal for $80 which in fact turned out to be very generous as beautiful amuse- bouches & homemade breads were interspersed throughout & handmade mandarin jellies & caramels were served after our dessert. The entree, main & dessert were impeccably cooked & presented. This would have to be the most exciting food in Brisbane at the moment .

Putia Pure Food Kitchen is a restaurant, pantry and cooking school. Putia, meaning corner store in Sicilian, is a rustic alfresco restaurant with a focus on creating pure taste sensations using fresh, quality, locally sourced and sustainable produce.
$64 For breakfast is way over priced.Coffee and food were good but not worth $$$. Very inconsistent with serving sizes between meals. Big breakfast good size for $ but eggs Benedict at $24 For 1 slice of bread, avo and 2 eggs left husband hungry. Also said more like a white sauce rather than hollandaise. Most disappointing though is that having an allergy menu becomes very restrictive when they won't allow substitution. But happy to remove $8 item and add $4 and charge for addition still. I understand not allowing substitution all the time but allergies already make my dining experience difficult. So due to this won't be back. It's obviously busy and won't miss my patronage but warning to others you may leave disappointed. Dear OpinionATThank you for your review. You are quite right, there is a difference in size between the BIG Breakfast and the Putia benedict due to the different ingredients in each dish. The big breakfast is the most substantial mean on the menu. Many of our customers tell us that they have allergies and our staff talk to them about menu options that might work for them. I appreciate the difficulty you may often have in choosing a suitable dish. For this reason, there is a basic menu choice of eggs on toast to which you can then add sides that are agreeable with you. Perhaps that would have worked better for you than the Big breakfast. Having said that, I can assure you that your feedback, e.g in relation to the sauce, is appreciated and has been considered by the kitchen team. regards Dominique

As a bar, cafe and a place to meet for lunch, dinner or after work drinks we have everything you need. We don't like to complicate things, it's all about the freshest ingredients and a place where you can share platters, pizzas, desserts, âand drinks.
The food is locally sourced and reasonably priced. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was good but a bit bland for my taste. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. There was a nice local crowd in the restaurant for lunch and what appeared to be baffles in the ceiling to keep the noise level manageable. I am rounding my rating up to 4 based on the service and the price. Helpful Hint: The restaurant is not immediately on the street. There was a sign on the sidewalk pointing in the direction of the restaurant.

Unfortunately I think this place just wasnât for me. Outside of the amuse-bouche which was beautiful, porcini foam type dish with crispy duck, the food was really bland and unmemorable. My pet peeve in a restaurant is not providing salt and pepper on the table. If youâre going to be light on flavour you have to provide salt and pepper. I donât feel comfortable asking for it and potentially offending the chef. While the sommelier was good for a chat none of the other wait staff seemed to show us their personality. The dining room lacks soul and the air conditioning was up too high to be comfortable. However the drinks list is incredible. If you like wine or cocktails you would definitely enjoy the effort behind the drinks list!

This award-winning restaurant has become known as a local Brisbane hot spot for affordable modern Australian cuisine with a casual atmosphere and gorgeous surroundings. Kennigoâs starters have that wonderful summer appeal with favourites such as lamb saus
I hate going to the same place twice and prefer to try out new places but Iâve broken the rule as this was too good. Prom Belly was brilliant and the desert was even better...I donât understand why there are other places that are heaving by the river and this is quiet (but means youâll get a table) Unfortunately I doubt Iâll be back here in a hurry but if u was Iâd be eating here again!Dear davidrC1742LL,Thank you so much for your wonderful review, the team will really appreciate your comments.Hopefully your review like many others will tempt futuer diners to throw cuation to the wind and try something different and head to Spring Hill's Kennigo Socail House for something different.Thank you again and hopefully we'll see you again to sample our Spring menu in October.Regards,Neil

Every element of the award winning Bacchus restaurant has been designed with indulgence in mind. Head Chef Massimo Speroni's menu showcases a modern outlook on classical dishes and a commitment to quality ingredients and depth of flavour.
Wow! We came here to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary and were absolutely delighted by the whole experience. Everything was impeccable, from the friendly and helpful staff to the delicious food. Each serving was beautifully presented, obviously made with love and pride. The flavours were so delicate and complimentary. We really can't praise Bacchus highly enough...it made our evening very special.

Attended a hen party dinner at the end of the month and boy it didnât disappoint. The only silent hen party Iâve been to - the food was so good there wasnât a peep! The amazing quality was only surpassed by the fantastic service we got from Sam who really made an impression on us all (and spoiled us for future restaurants - weâll never experience the like elsewhere!)Between us I think the whole menu was tasted and there was no critique or bad words to say about it. Canât wait for the next visit

The Doo-Bop Bar is a three-level live music venue in the heart of Brisbaneâs CBD. Over 70 live music performances each month with our Piano Bar events, Jazz Bar events and Late Night Jam sessions.
We went to a show and dinner here in the basement bar. The ambience is great, the service was amazing and we were stunned that the food was so good! It's definitely very good value for a 2 course fine dining meal and show. You may want to check out the musicians though, as the modal jazz on offer was not our thing. Totally rookie error as we were expecting a French Quarter or Frenchman's Street type evening of entertainment. Hopefully this is on offer at other times and maybe is, in the bar upstairs but obviously modal jazz aficionados were in syncopated discordant heaven. The food however ensured we still had an enjoyable evening and we'll certainly give it another try.Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are very please you enjoyed your meal and hope to see you back in Doo-Bop again soon. If you would ever like recommendations on what to see at Doo-Bop you are very welcome to email us at [email protected] and we would be happy to suggest something suited to you. Thanks,The Doo-Bop Team
Mr. Mista is an L.A. inspired cocktail bar & Asian influenced kitchen that caters for people who love an elegant dining experience but, can still party âtil 3am. Weâve had some fun with our South-East-Asia inspired share-plate menu. The experience is desi
Lovely Tracey & Pip made us feel most welcome. Many nooks/tables/lounges with a Hollywood flare - to enjoy a night out with friends/family. Try the Johnny Depp Cocktail - tequlia based with passionfruit - served in a wide open glass - totally memorable & refreshing! Menu covers plates to share - we had the sensational mossman beef curry /broccolini & fried rice - delicious. Venue attracts a young crowd but we're mature age & many others across all demographics there for drinks &/or dinner.
