We were a little worried about dining at Barney Duffyâs Grill especially after reading the TA reviews. However, we did enjoy our steaks, although the wine list was extremely limited. This restaurant would make an excellent BYO which would be greatly appreciated by others. Yes, the restaurant does need a good clean but we enjoyed talking to the chef about Norfolk. Overall-We found Barney Duffyâs steak better than the Bowling club. Decor needs improvement & updated.

Norfolk Islands only craft cocktail bar, bringing the art of mixing drinks to life with an abundance of local sustainable ingredients, good island vibes in a small bar atmosphere. Enjoy a rotation of craft beers from around the globe and charcuterie share
Black anchor bar is a new addition to the much-needed nightlife of Burnt Pine Village. It's open Thursday to Sunday from 5 pm. The bar offers craft beers, cocktails and interesting spirits. It's very popular and a great place to meet the locals & mingle with the tourists. Thank you for your review Elle! We love being the spot for tourists to mingle with locals, so many crazy adventures on Norfolk have started with people meeting at the bar over a few cocktails. Thanks for stopping by!

Like most clubs on the Island food is prepared to high standards. Drinks are reasonably priced. The entertainment very professional. The wall of remembrance showing photos of al, those who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the World Wars as either Australian, New Zealand or British troups shows the commitment of the Islanders to their Island.

This beautifully restored house is the centrepiece at Governor's Lodge offering gorgeous surrounds, fine cuisine, Chef's specials and a dining experience to always remember. What a perfect place to enjoy lunch floating on the original flagstone verandah.
Only open for 3 nights whilst we were staying at the Governors Lodge so only dined here once. Very nice, good sized meals & reasonnably priced. Loved the happy hour prior to dining here. On arrival offered a complimentary champagne which we enjoyed before having our yummyToblerone.

Definitely worthy of number 1 for special occasions, fine dining at its best with excellent attention to detail,We had the nicest wait staff, they knew exactly when to be seen and heard and very knowledgeable about the menu and wines,Perhaps I would suggest a few more choices on the menu, having said that the food was excellent.

Honest. Tasty. Food. Welcome to our cafe where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything in between.
This cafe is on the main road running through Burnt Pine, so you can't miss it.We called in for a coffee one morning but sadly found it lacking in flavour. A nice Asian gentleman runs the cafe but I think that they need a good Barista. There are much better places to enjoy a coffee near by.Thank you for taking the time to write the review. And I am sorry for your disappointment with the coffee - most of the time we get great feedback about our barista coffee. We have taken your comment on board and will do better next time :)

Its the "vibe" of this place that gets you in. Books to read, hidden in a tropical garden, nice food. I would suggest lunch here and lay back for a rest. Most of the chairs are hard to sit in so choose the timber ones near the windows as they are very relaxing.

Fresh organic produce served in abundance from the local growers on Norfolk Island, incredible local fish and beef, Prepared in various styles and specialising in French, Italian, Australian for dinner, amazing Devonshire teas and affordable fresh and tas
My partner and I recently had lunch at this delightful restaurant. We ate outside in the garden and were served by friendly, helpful staff. My partner chose the local fish and I had a seafood pancake, both were excellent. The food and the wine were not expensive. A very pleasant place to spend a few hours over lunch or dinner.
