We stopped in on the way home to the coast, burgers were very nice and the owner was lovely also. Everything tasted very fresh. Very friendly and helpful when deciding on a burger. They have a range of different salts to choose for your chips which is a nice unique touch. Will definitely be back.

Come and sit opposite the beautiful Coolangatta beach and enjoy our hospitality. Our kitchen team has put together a great menu for you, look out over the water while sampling our extensive beverage list. Down to earth staff, hearty modern Australian dish
Bellakai was our daily meeting place on a recent holiday with friends. Can't thank the team at Bellakai enough for their friendly service and great food. The location is wonderful but it was the service and food that kept us coming back. See you next year.

Jay's Food Emporium offers you a unique experience. Come in to enjoy great food and coffee. View our sauce and dressings made in store. Treat yourself to one of our hand made sauces to take home.
I decided to stop in after my teenage son kept raving about the food - he eats a lot and is conscious of how much he spends (now he's earning his own money!). I bought a bacon and egg burger and it was reasonably priced and delicious. Nothing fancy, just good food and service.

Came here with friends. The renos look great, amazing view of course, plenty of tables. The place fills quick but empties just as fast. People did not seem to hang around even though it was Sunday and there is live music. The staff seem friendly enough and were clearing the tables quickly. The food however could do with some tweaking. Every meal is ginormous but I think they sacrifice flavour. I had the roast vegetable salad, but I probably wouldnât be call it a salad. It was literally big chunks of roasted mix veggies on a bed of plain cous cous. I was expecting the cous cous to be flavoured with some kind of spice, like Moroccan and maybe have some sultanas through it to give it the flavour it needed. It was a huge plate of bland food unfortunately. My hubby and friend both had the Asian pork dish, which actually had a very nice flavour, but again it was enormous, with a tonne of rice. There is only so much sticky sweet pork a person can eat. Even my hubby couldnât finish it. If they reduced the size of the meals and concentrated on the flavour, I think they would be onto a winner. The other let down is there is no cake cabinet. You wouldnât know that they served dessert unless you asked, which is what we did. Another let down, as there were only 3 options. I say get a cabinet in there and put it on display. The desserts were amazing when they came out so I donât understand why they donât advertise them.

4 of us attaended for a weekday lunch. Great ambience with lovely views across the road to the beach. We ordered: Mushroom & Mozzarrella Arancini, fabulous. Salt & pepper Squid, tender & flavoursome. Roasted Duck Spring Rolls, superb. Sticky Soy Pork Belly [this dish alone is worth going back for]. Crispy Skin Salmon Fillet [a delightful dish]. We couldn't fault any of the food or service here, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I was doing a weeks work in Coolangatta and drove there on the Sunday, blissfully unaware it was Mothers Day. So when I arrived my room was not ready and I asked where I could get a coffee and was directed to Scooterini.I went there and ordered my coffee and as I hadn't had lunch I ordered the Soup special. The soup was tomato and bacon with toasted ciabatta. I thoroughly enjoyed the soup and the coffee was excellent. When I paid I asked whether they were open for breakfast to be told that 'yes we are here from 5.30am!' I happily informed them that they wouldn't get me quite that early but I did return for breakfast the next day and every day of my stay.I had a number of different breakfasts during my stay and they were all great and particularly flavoursome and tasty. There were a lot of additional little things that I liked that included that they made their own hash browns which had nice herbs in them.I met a colleague there one morning and said that I thought there were all these little things that made Scooterini stand out over and above the great food and coffee and the lovely staff. When I was asked what, I said have a look over there where there was staff member washing and disinfecting all the kids toys - so rare to see.Scooterini is well worth a visit and somewhere that I will look forward to going back to.

After a walk from Coolangatta we wanted a quick bite before returning to Melbourne at the airport. Was surprised to find this cool little cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely coffee, scones and toastie which was delicious and generous. We stayed for some time with no push from staff to leave once we had finished. Easy walk across the highway to airport
