Usually eat elsewhere, but this night decided on the new Patio Restaurant at Windaroo Cottage, service was great and the meal was big enough. The Chicken was delicious, was served with fries and salad. We sat outside, it has beautiful ambience. Will go back again.

Reopening after the Games Room fire, we finally ventured back. The fire damaged section has been totally rebuilt and makes for a very modern experience. The restaurant is much the same with a new menu focus. We had a small group dining (8) and found the food and prices to be very good. There were plenty of prawns as well as many other selections with salads, roasts, pizza and Italian fare. We noted excellent set lunch specials every day and will certainly return for those on special occasions. The choice of live music added to the ambience. The club was buzzing and all car parks and street parking was full, so get there early.

As this cafe is inside the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum I think you will have to pay the entry to access the cafe. But the village and museum are well worth the entry fee. Allow a couple of hours to look around. Really reasonable prices. Generous sized servings. Good choices. Loved the quiche. thank you for your review Lyn S, it is our pleasure to have you visit Tin Cafe Cafe inside the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum - you don't have to pay to enter to access the cafe, it's free to come in and just enjoy the service and atmosphere. The Royal Hotel is great for the whole family, you can relax and watch as your kids play on the playground whilst selecting from a variety of your pub favourites. So come check out the Royal in Beenleigh next time you are in the area.
When we walked in we wondered why, on a Saturday night, there were hardly any people there and only one other table of 2 eating. When our meals come out we all looked at each other in disbelief. The expensive meals we ordered were so ridiculously small it was a joke. 3 meals and 3 drinks and over $100 spent, I came home and had something to eat. The last time I went to this hotel was 10 years ago. It wasn’t as flash as it is now but it was busy and the meals were cheap and big and nice. Where are the good ole days gone I’d say. None of our families will come back again. Hi,Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback for us , as it is invaluable and without it we would never know where we could improve our services. I'm disappointed to hear you were unhappy with your meals that you ordered. I was wondering if you could perhaps provide me with a little more information as to what meals you did order so we can have a look at changing this in this future. Was the quality of meals good , Just the small portions were the let down? I would like to offer you a $100 voucher to come in and give us another shot at feeding your family. Hopefully we can get them home with Full bellies this time. The voucher will be here for you to collect at any time. Thanks again for the feedback. Hopefully we will see you soon.Melita DoyleManager

The coffee was weak and if it was for the fact that I did not have much time, I would have gone elsewhere. The service was pleasant enough but there was no atmosphere and when they wanted to charge me an over the top credit card fee - well that was it for me.

Only moved to this area 3 months ago, but always look for a local fish and chip shop. This one didn't disappoint. What a find. Beautifully cooked food, friendly staff, lovely clean premises. Have only tried fish and chips so far on a number of occasions, as they are so yummy. Will try the burgers next as they have been recommended. If you are travelling north on M1 take exit 35, go over the highway and follow the signs to Fryar Rd Eagleby. You too can find this hidden gem.

Restuarant is also in partnership with Purple Palate bottle / wine bar. Bar Barossa has been open for approx 2 years in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Visiting Brisbane from out of town and wanting to catch up with some friends, we received a recommendation to eat here and we were not disappointed. Serving modern style cuisine, an impressive variety of wines and friendly staff made the evening very memorable. Prices are reasonable based on the quality of the food so expect to pay around $75 a person including drinks. Overall a fantastic night that I would recommend to anyone.

Friends booked this venue for a get together. Initially we weren't thrilled, our daughter gigs here and my husband has had a beer and snacks while waiting but was not happy with the expensive bar menu. This time we sat inside at a table and we were delighted with the food. Menu is not big, and does not cater for kids, but the food was delicious and we will go back again. Lovely local venue.

Quick coffee before a meeting but unfortunately service was a bit slow as reasonably busy & only one person working & the phone rang as well.Large cafe on main Street with lots of seating inside. Provides takeaway as well as sit-down meals.Coffee was good when it arrived - served to the table. The staff member was very friendly just very busy - I don't think would be like this later in the day as additional staff were rostered to start later.
