Had lunch here yesterday. There is a very good variety of food here, and everything was hot and pretty good today. Food is somewhat bland. The servers do a great job keeping your glasses filled. Hostess and Management probably need to keep their political opinions to themselves and not voice them in the open around guests. I found it comical that you could refer to the President of the United States as a dictator, when you came from a country that actually has a dictator.

Wait staff was not friendly or up to par. Had to ask about my drink which the waitress gave to another table while I had nothing to drink for awhile and had to ask her about it - she should have apologized instead of making an excuse and she never came back asking if I wanted a refill after finally giving me my drink. The lady who was cleaning - she should be a waitress as she was kind and friendly and helpful. The chef cooking in front of us was okay - he went through the motions of getting the meal cooked and served. Lobster and shrimp were a tad over-cooked. They give you lots of rice. The veggies were good and the steak and filet mignon was perfect. The decor could be a little nicer - especially the drapery. The prices were okay.

We live on the south end of Zanesville and would usually eat at one of the other 2 closer Chinese places. Both very average. We have now been to Mark Pi's 3 times in the last month going out of our way to get it. Food has been phenomenal every time. They make the local Chines places taste very average. I recommend this place to take out, they have a very small cramped dining area.
