If you are curious about a restaurant - look for a line. If there is one, those people are telling you that there is something worth waiting for inside. Pho Noodle House is no different. Wanted something different for dinner and stopped in and placed an order to go. The food came out fast and the aroma made me speed home. Once home the portions and ingredients were a very nice surprise. Just like dining inside, the take out comes with all the different flavors to personally customize your meal, and all of this is before you get to taste it....once that happens you are very happy you waited. Great place, good service, and simply good food.

I enjoyed our big celebration here at this restaurant, with all of its wonderful authentic Japanese cuisine. He reminds me of when I lived in Japan 20 years ago. The only thing I don't like is that it's kind of loud which is OK because it kind of reminds me also have the Japanese teriyaki houses.

We go here for lunch almost every Sunday. The place is clean and not very crowded. It is a large restaurant but the service is fast and friendly. My favorite on the menu is the Walnut Shrimp. The portions are a fair size for lunch. It also comes with a cup of Egg Drop Soup and some Wantons. This with a soft drink will cost around $10.00. I like this place and would recommended.

First of all, the staff here is amazing! On the 2nd visit they remembered me from the first one. And no, I didn't cause a scene or anything the first time to make them remember me! Great choices in sashimi and rolls. Chef specials, advertised and unadvertised :-) Reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!

Very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Food is very good, I tried their pho, spring rolls and banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) and they are really really good, with the right spicy taste and good price. The service is also very good. One of my favorites places in the area.

We had the $24.99 dinner buffet. Waited 1 hour 15 minutes at about 5:30 pm Saturday. Service and sides were very good. Different beef selections were all tough and some sinewy and grisly. Baby squid and shrimp were fresh, but shrimp were small. Very loud.

It's hard to find authentic Japanese sushi restaurants, especially good ones, in Orange County, so I was thrilled to find Sushi Noguchi. The owner chef Hiro serves only the freshest ingredients. We have tried both Hiro's and Jun's omakase courses and each time everything was perfectly prepared. Although the omakase courses are expensive (Hiro's $70-120) they are worth the money on special occasions. I found Jun's omakase (pre-fixed menu $50) a good deal. I even got to taste mantis shrimp I had not seen anywhere else since I left Japan. I wish they had an assorted nigiri set on the dinner menu as they do for lunch. The lunch nigiri set is reasonable, only around $20. Jun and all the servers are very attentive, professional and friendly.

Pretty good restaurant, even though it is in a strip mall and I always have very low expectations of restaurants in strip malls. Actually, my expectations are so low that I donât eat in restaurants in strip malls! But if you are staying in scenic (ha!) Brea and you donât have time to drive to a charming old town somewhere, youâre really not left with much choice as far as I can tell.So...we were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. I had enough roast duck on the plate in my dish to last two meals. Admittedly Iâm not prone to gluttony, however, it was a lot of food. And it was very good to boot! My wife ordered the sushi plate and that was very good also. Oh, and the service was excellent. On the negative side, they only serve tediously boring Japanese beer, which is a bit silly in my opinion given all the wonderful local craft beers available on the West Coast. Câest la vie I suppose. So all-in-all I give this restaurant four stars. In a different location I might even give them five stars, but I could never bring myself to give five stars to a restaurant in a strip mall. Sorry!

After reading the recent reviews for "On The Hook" it's almost like we dined at a different restaurant. We found the service at best, inadequate. An excessive amount of time passed before our first entree was served (Jambalaya), another 10 minutes passed before our second entree (Cajun Catfish) arrived. Both entrees were served with no silverware. Having said that, both the Jambalaya and Cajun Catfish were quite good.

We met a friend here for dinner while traveling, based on TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. I particularly sought it out based a reviewer's praise for the Pad-see-ewe noodles, which were outstanding. Attractive décor, excellent service, and lovely presentation. Definitely in the league of better Thai restaurants.
