The best little Thai Restaurant on the coast with the food that will make you want to boast... just awesome
Staying nearby, this was a good choice and we were late so needed somewhere that the kitchen did not close at 8pm. We arrived shortly after 8 and were warmly greeted, seated and offered menus. Having made our choices the food was prompt, tasty and generous. Would certainly eat here again

We have eaten here twice in the last three months. The food is of a very high standard and the portions are a good size. The food is fresh and very tasty, there is a great range of dishes in the menu. You don't seem to get that MSG hangover with this food. If you are visiting Woolgoolga and like Chinese food I can recommend the Golden Chinese Restaurant to you.

Our desire to try Korean food was well satisfied at this gem.Warmly greeted, the Korean and Japanese influenced menu was explained. We had superb dumplings (not deep fried) followed by a BBQ combo for two cooked on our table. We selected the pork/chicken/scallop which came with an assortment of dips, sauces and kimchi , lettuce and a bowl of steamed rice which we wrapped up in a lettuce leaf. What a taste-bud revelation! All the time, it was explained to us how to assemble our delicious food.Best of all, it was so reasonably priced. The care and preparation that goes into their food is amazing.Soft drinks only $2 whilst a 330ml tankard of tap Sapporo beer was $8.It's worth going the 20 minutes from Coffs for a really different foodie experience.

Walter's Bistro is located within Cex Woolgoolga Bowling Club. We offer a delicious selection of both Chinese and western cuisines. Walter Hui our head chef has won multiple awards for his culinary skills, including the bronze medal at the 6th Annual Worl
This was our first experience of Walter's Bistro and it will not be our last. We expected a club atmosphere rather than an intimate dining experience so were not disappointed by the rather cavernous dining area. It was a shame that apart from our group of three there was only one other couple there at Saturday lunchtime, so it lacked atmosphere. However, for catching up with friends it is ideal - there was a wide range of lunch specials at excellent prices and of course the nearby bar had a great selection of drinks. We found the food very good. One of us enjoyed Chicken Kiev, another Barramundi while the Pad Thai was also very satisfying. The service was friendly and prompt.
